It never ceases to amaze me that someone that puts out such great music and poetic lyrics can be such an unknown. Lifelines is DK's fifth album is more rock than his subsequent albums, which lean more toward ballad/folk. But whether rock, ballad, or folk DK's Lifelines gives customers their money's worth with hard driving songs like Rise Again, Yeah, But What Do Men Want? and Like Lovers Do, and soulful tunes like Guiding Star and Lonely Is the Night.
