5.0 out of 5 stars Messages wake you up as to what your possibilities might be.
This manual presents to the reader, how they can improve their life. This isn't the standard "how to" manual; it deals with becoming aware of how you perceive in your everyday life. It indicates that those perceptions are founded on many of your past experiences (upbringing, and personal history etc.). The manual indicates that you cannot change whats happened,...

After reading the "look before you leap" review, I assume the author has not read this book. I have not read it either, but have taken this training ten years ago and am purchasing the book today. My experience was a good one. I have met others who would not agree. I am compelled to write because of "look before you leap". I realize this is not for everyone, however,...

This review is from: Lifespring: Getting Yourself from Where You Are to Where You Want to Be (Paperback)
This manual presents to the reader, how they can improve their life. This isn't the standard "how to" manual; it deals with becoming aware of how you perceive in your everyday life. It indicates that those perceptions are founded on many of your past experiences (upbringing, and personal history etc.). The manual indicates that you cannot change whats happened, but it does indicate that your daily perceptions don't have to be based on that history ("content"). After reading this manual, the reader has a foundation to change how they perceive themself and thereby, their possibilities. Individuals who have read this manual or who have attended Lifespring training, are identified and have expressed what has changed in their lives. I have read this manual several times and have also taken Lifesprings training. My life has changed dramatically. I of course occasionally drift back to how I used to perceive everything, but more-so-than-not, I apply the this manuals messages daily. I cannot over rate this manual.

4.0 out of 5 stars Ten years later...., February 13, 2006
I bought this book 10 years ago, and as much as I love books, I can't think of any other book that I have on my book shelf that has lasted as long as this one!

I purchased the book soon after I did the Lifespring trainings, and the book has been a great way for me to always learn something new, as well as a reminder for me of lessons learned but forgotten.

Not very many people realize it, but the Lifespring trainings are still going on today.

For more information about them, visit www.EverybodyGoes.com

The book also offers small vignettes where someone who has done at least one of the workshops will share about how they've used these principles in their lives.

Overall, I thought it was all pretty neat!

As a former "student" of Lifespring process I felt that the book gives a lot of information that intelectually supports what goes on in the workshop. I recommend you do the workshop before you read the book.
I am very happy with the results for the workshop in my life and the contents of the book only come to show that it is a good option for life.

After reading the "look before you leap" review, I assume the author has not read this book. I have not read it either, but have taken this training ten years ago and am purchasing the book today. My experience was a good one. I have met others who would not agree. I am compelled to write because of "look before you leap". I realize this is not for everyone, however, I don't want everyone to discount it due to a supposed review of a book. Lifespring was a great experience for me. It has not made me into who I am today but it has influenced me in many ways that contribute to my daily success in life. Feel free to E-mail me if you have questions.
