Great table, but they're $80 a Staples,

These are great tables for use doing crafts and hobbies, as well as hauling out for a barbecue. But you can usually get the 6 footers for about $80 at Staples. Not only do these hold up better than the pressboard ones with faux wood stick-on on top, the finish won't peel off over time.

Nice tables, but don't trust the warranty,
This review is from: Lifetime 6-Foot Utility Table with 72-by-30-Inch Molded Top, White Granite (Lawn & Patio)
We've used these tables for years, have 9 of them and they've been very dependable. Last purchased one in Sept, noticed quality was not as good (table is not as thick, clips more cheaply made, etc). But seemed adequate and figured as long as it did the job, it was acceptable. Had an incidence in which the table nearly collapsed, caught it in time and assumed the metal locking ring wasn't placed quite right, thought nothing of it--but made sure subsequently to double check every time we used. Monday we set it up, I checked it personally. Hubby was a bit testy, insisted he had set it up properly (and he had). It collapsed and, upon examining it, the metal actually bent and even split right at the point where the locking ring was supposed to catch in the grooves to prevent such failure. Contacted Lifetime, sent photos as instructed. They insist it wasn't properly set up and refuse to honor the warranty. Would have believed this too if I hadn't double checked it myself, but know that is not the case. I am convinced the table is defective, but now must purchase a replacement out of pocket. Because previous tables have been reliable, am hesitantly giving 3 stars. But warranty is useless, so keep this in mind if you're considering a purchase.
