I bought this for 299.99 before the holidays. It's gone up in price, but looks and feels as good as a unit 2 to 3 times the price I paid. The system arrived promptly, in perfect condition, with all the parts there. My installer (an all around do-it-yourselfer, which I'm not), had no difficulties, and the system works perfectly. The power lift tool is amazing.

My 10 year old son helped me assemble it, but you think it needs two adults to install it.
Followed the instructions and spent about 4 to 5 hours to assemble and erect it.
Once in the ground and the cement cured, it is sturdy and looks great.

Lifetime makes great products and this is no exception! One note, pay attention to the directions as the spring in the adjustable portion is very powerful and a little tricky to assemble the parts. Otherwise, very nice system that will last us for alot of years.

I purchased this for my husband on our first anniversary back in May 2011. He had a friend come over to dig the hole and install the support post- then left it sitting outside for two months. Finally, this past weekend, he and his brother finished the installation- and we've all been enjoying it since. From what I observed, the hoop definitely requires two adults with a basic sense of how items go together. I'd say the hole/pole install was about 2-3 hours (including digging) and the final stage another 3-4 hours- mainly because the "directions" as I looked at them were just a list/diagram of parts- so half the time is spent identifying parts. In fact, my husband ran to the store thinking one screw was missing only to find it in a different box when he came back- though luckily a basic Home Depot/etc. store carries all the parts so you won't necessarily have to write to the manufacturer if something is missing (though you may of course want to). I in particular love the height adjustment feature- which you can literally change with two fingers (I tried) and which is great when a ball gets stuck or you need to work on the backboard. Overall, we're very pleased with this hoop- even if the backboard is less than regulation; as my brother-in-law said it just forces the shooter to be more accurate.

We shopped around for months checking prices and durability. This one is by far the nicest one for the money. I arrived quickly and my husband and son had it up within a couple of days. No problems with assembly or set up. We would definitely buy it again and highly recommend it! Enjoy!

The basketball "system" came well packed and on time. We had it professionally installed and assembled as it had to be set in cement and we anticipated it getting a lot of hard use. It looks great. The kids hang off the rim and it withstands all kinds of "abuse". It is easy to adjust the height of the rim. We would recommend it.

This is a great system and assembly is straightforward. We purchased the ground sleeve which made it even easier. I highly recommend this system. Shipping and Delivery was fantastic and arrived on schedule.
