It must have been difficult to release a follow-up to "Places" but this one IS even better.

There is no business like show business, they say. And in this "business", Khani Cole deserves so much better.

She will, I'm afraid, remain a wonderful secret for some of us but and it is terribly frustrating to watch what is released these days and to realize that Miss Cole doesn't get much airplay.

Great voice, wonderful sound, recording and production, amazing songs(...but ugly "artwork", but that is a detail).

Warner, Verve, Grp, please open your ears!

This album is an outstanding. Khani Cole CAN sing and the songs on this album are great, period, end of story. I watched in horror as Nellie Furtado took a Grammy the other night and only could imagine how many Khani Cole's must be out there without the breaks and L U C K it takes to become a major star. This "Lifetime" album is a masterpiece of understated sophistication. I only hope that REAL music fans everywhere can get a taste of Khani Cole and "Lifetime."

this cd is outstanding...Khani has a wonderful voice...this cd is spectacular.. her first track *Lifetime* is very wonderful with a brazilian sound..*Things I Do* is one of my favorites by her along with *If* which she sings about a lost love.. *Trickin*is very groovy.. and the two interludes are named after her children Aria and Erin... if u dont have this cd u need to rush to the record stores and purchase it..
