Excellent quality, very sturdy.

It blends in with our yard and trees and therefore doesn't look like a public playground!

We chose this set for several factoers after reading reviews from several sources.
1. easy to put together
2. did not need to be anchored to the ground
3. its rated for up to age 12 so it can handle a bigger kid and would have more years of use
4. powder coated so it won't get blazing hot in the summer- we get 120+ here -if you live where it gets over 100 this is a good choice for you
5. free shipping with amazon prime-sweet!

This set is extremely sturdy and well worth the money. Our pediatrician is constantly on us to provide lots of activity for the kids so they avoid weight problems and stay fit so and this is a great choice.
A little bit of advice when you are assembling this : when screwing in the corner braces on the monkey bars get all the screws in first losely before tighting- the last screw is the hardest on each corner. I had to hang on the bars to hold some pressure down to help my hubby get it all aligned. otherwise it was a pretty straight forward assembly- no problem with the parts-I presorted them in a large cupcake tin before we started. The chains on the swings are seriously coated to protect little hands-its like being at the park in our own backyard. This set is versital so the kids have many areas to play on it and not get board.

We absolutely do not regret buying this swingset! Our previous set was a cheap wooden one and after a few years of use it was really showing its age. Our boys LOVE this set and it is constructed so well. Definitely a solid purchase that will last for many years! We also like the fact that you don't need to dig it into the ground - it is such a solid and heavy piece of construction that there is no need to. Don't hesitate in buying it!

You can read all the reviews and nearly all of them are gushing about this play set. I now know the reason!

The set arrived in a wooden crate wide and long enough for the slide. There were 3 boxes under the slide. The delivery guy was great in getting closest to where it would be put together, but make sure you are prepared to help unload - our delivery did not have a lift, so we tipped it on end to get it out of the truck and gently set it on the ground.

The pieces were all packed very well with plastic, foam, etc. Before my help arrived, I laid all the pieces out near the site it would be put together (I placed it on grass...might do rubber mulch later, but wanted to see placement before ripping up my yard). The hardware comes in 3 packs (cardboard backing with plastic to show what the pieces are). The labeling is pretty good - it tells you at the top if it's for the Frame Assembly, the Monkey Bar Assembly, etc. You will be able to figure out which piece is which, but it's interesting in the instructions that they will call a bolt a 3 letter code to put in the drawing, but on the packaging, those codes are not used. I'm not sure why this is, considering they give you exactly the right hardware for each section (even when many of the bolts and nuts are used elsewhere).

My help and I were not rushing anything. Once we got our wits about what the pieces and hardware were, it became very easy. So, I would recommend taking your time and don't tighten any of the bolts/nuts until the section is together. We were finished in less than 2 and 1/2 hours. I am usually quick to pick up the power tools and just go carefully, however, I only used a drill one time to bore the holes in the slide (they were there, but the plastic wasn't open to pass the bolt through).

The good news, it is sturdy when installed, built with large heavy tubes, the chains on swings could hold an elephant. The finger guards on the swings are molded to the chains on the top. There are multiple play areas for several kids to play on at one time. The manual says up to 6. The kids love the set.
The bad news, This set is not built for kids under 5 years old. Things are just too big or too high for them to be able to play on them. Otherwise, parts were missing or faulty. One plastic plug was missing, two bolts were cross threaded so that no many how many times I tried to put a nut on them they would not thread correctly (multiple nuts and multiple tries with each). Several washers were too small, and the end caps for the tubes had to be filed down with a round file in order thread a bolt and nut through them. Make sure that the set is exactly level because even a quarter of an inch can make the legs of the monkey bars lift with any movement of the swing. One of the biggest problems is the size of this thing. According to the manual, it requires a space of 29 feet by 27 feet. If you live in the suburbs you may not have that much room or want it to take up that much of your yard. Finally there is the crate to be considered. It comes in a very large wooden crate with large cardboard boxes in it.
All in all maybe not the best choice for many, but if you have the money, space and a large family it could be for you if you are willing to go the extra mile in rigging things.

After searching online and reading so many reviews, I smiled from ear to ear when I stumbled upon this swing set. I wanted to get monkey bars and a slide since my nieces (ages 5&7) already have swings hanging from the trees in the backyard. So, 3 extra swings are a plus for when friends are over playing.

WE ARE SO HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE!!! It is sturdy, strong and the kids LOVE it!
My handyman dad (age 67) and my machinist husband (44) assembled this set in 3 1/2 hours with no problems whatsoever. Also, no cement is a huge PLUS!

Like a previous review said, and the only thing I noticed is that when climbing up to the top of the slide, there aren't any handles. A little awkward, but the kids don't mind. Other than that, I give LIFETIME an A+ for this swing set.

Found it at Gardenbug for $990 (No tax and free shipping)
