DVD Contents:

Untamed Love (1994) - TV Movie - 87 min - A badly abused girl of 7 is saved from having to be admitted to an institution by a dedicated Special Education teacher whose class she's been placed in until there is an opening in the hospital. In that time they form a strong bond and the child begins to heal. The teacher begins to think an institution is not what this child needs. Drama - Director: Paul Aaron - Stars: Cathy Lee Crosby, John Getz and Gary Frank.

Just Ask My Children (2001) - TV Movie - 91 min - A pedophilia witch-hunt is started in Bakersfield by two teenage girls' foppish child abuse claims. Blindly ambitious justice officials, especially in the prosecutor's office, conspire to arrest loving parents Scott and Brenda Kniffen, whose doted pre-teen sons Brian and Brandon are grilled endlessly until they repeat the vicious lies, the elder even ends up believing them while they pass from one foster home to the next, as even the grandparents are denied custody for not turning on their children. The defense's rights are systematically denied, so the parents go to jail for 240 years. The boys are near adulthood when the political tide finally turns. Drama - Director: Arvin Brown - Stars: Virginia Madsen, Jeffrey Nordling and Graham Beckel.

Taming Andrew a.k.a. When Andrew Came Home (2000) - TV Movie - 88 min - A mother searches for five years to find her kidnapped son in this fact-based drama. Unexpectedly the boy is found, but the reunion is not as she hoped. She now has to deal with five years of abuse that the boy suffered at the hands of his kidnappers. Drama - Director: Artie Mandelberg - Stars: Park Overall, Jason Beghe and Seth Adkins.

There are 2 real-life depictions on this 4-film DVD ~ "The Good Fight" (an excellent movie showing the deceit of the tobacco company) and "Dangerous Evidence" (an excellent portrayal of a real-life rape case where a black man was falsely accused and his fight to finally be exonerated) which are really interesting and well acted and directed. The other two, are OK films--not bad, however a little frightening if you are sensitive to stalking/threatening themes. Good price for 4 movies--you can't go wrong! There is no swearing or extremely bad scenes--one bedroom scene on the Good Fight and of course a rape scene that is not really showed, more discussed.

I actually only bought this movie set for one of the movies. But after I watched all the movies I am glad I purchased this set because they are all good movies. This is a great set for anyone who likes to watch Lifetime movies.

This is not a review of the DVD but of Amazon's process. When you check out, Amazon recommends a "package" of items as "Frequently Bought Together" - BEWARE!! I just ordered the 3 items recommended: two of the 10 movie packs and a 4 movie pack. EVERY SINGLE movie from the 4 movie pack was on one of the 10 movie packs. I guess I should have looked at it more carefully but I didn't imagine that anyone would recommend a DVD with the EXACT SAME movies as your original purchase. Normally, Amazon is excellent. 24 movies for around $20 is pretty good so I can live with it - but I was just disappointed! Don't assume because it is being recommended that it makes sense.

I enjoyed the movies except for Just Ask My Children. I couldn't even get through it. I know that sometimes people try to brainwash the young but I couldn't watch it happen. I don't know if I will ever watch it. I will watch the others again.

Hallmark movies are always the best. But I love the multiple movies, you get several on one disc and it is awesome to set and watch them all.
