__HIGHLY RECOMMENDED___ as a FUN BOAT (or fishing platform) for 1 to 3 passengers! - not the best design for touring or distance paddling. Very strong and well designed hull. Seat clips recessed and unobtrusive - comfortable and ergonomically designed seating and foot stops. Seemingly indestructible and very hard to capsize (easily righted when intentionally flipped when swimming alongside)

Pros: Easily manages its 500lb capacity - Comfortably carries two adults and a child - Also handles well by a solo paddler - Re-boarding from the water with little effort (after intentional jump overboard)

Cons: Bulky and awkward to be carried by one person (though very possible @ 55lbs) Molded hull handles make carrying by 2 persons a pleasure!

I'm new to kayaking and bought this for my husband and 5 year old to ride with me (I bought a single top-rider for myself). Yesterday we had this out on the lake for the first time and we fit all three of us on the kayak. The kayak felt very stable on the water; I think you'd have to try pretty hard to tip it over. My daughter also ended up jumping over the edge toward the end and she got on and off with very little effort. If I had it to do all over again, I'd just get two of these instead of the single seat top-rider. It seems like it would work well with one, two or three riders.

I'm a first time kayaker, at the age of 50. This kayak is stable and easy to paddle. I've kayaked solo AND with my 61 year old aunt and it was enjoyable both ways! Easy to get in and out of, easy to maneuver in the water, easily put in and taken out of the water. It's love, I tell you!!!

We bought this as a wedding present for my stepson and daughter in-law. It was delivered on time with everything included as listed. The only additional thing needed was life vests. My husband and I have kayaked for many years and we own a variety of kayaks. This is a really nice kayak. It will hold 3 people and appears to be very stable. A great deal at a great price. I am thrilled we bought it, our kids will really enjoy it.

THIS IS GREAT, STABLE, AND A LOT OF FUN, CAN NOT BE BEAT FOR THE PRICE, WE HAD 3 ADULTS ON THE KAYAK AND IT GLIDED THRU THE WATER WITH NO PROBLEMS.
