5.0 out of 5 stars Good stuff, plain one -- beware that the "flavored' is loaded with sugar!
I buy lots of keifir and drink it almost everyday. It has probio cultures that are really good for you. Personally, I enjoy the taste, too, but I understand that some people don't. One way to minimize the sour taste is to make smoothy with sweet fresh fruits such as banana. If you consider to buy the "flavored" versions, please beware that it's loaded with sugar, over...

1.0 out of 5 stars That was really bad - in a bad way!!
My family and I did not enjoy this product. It was on the page of spoiled milk. Perhaps if you like butter milk or sour things, but for us it was really bad. We tossed the rest of it. Perhaps the expectation was that of a healthier milk option. We were sadly mistaken. Maybe after the negative impression passes we can try a flavored version. OMG

I buy lots of keifir and drink it almost everyday. It has probio cultures that are really good for you. Personally, I enjoy the taste, too, but I understand that some people don't. One way to minimize the sour taste is to make smoothy with sweet fresh fruits such as banana. If you consider to buy the "flavored" versions, please beware that it's loaded with sugar, over 20 grams per serve! The plain taste one has only about 8 grams of sugar per serve. Adding some stavia or other healthy sweeteners is another possibility, but I know that some people also don't like their taste either.

Personally, I like the taste of keifir getter than yoghourt.

5.0 out of 5 stars SO YUMMY !!! CAN'T STOP DRINKING IT !!!, March 6, 2011

Shame on the previous reviewer for dumping this product without using it properly! She must have bought the plain non-fat version which has no taste, but allows the buyer to experiment and add ANY combination of fruits or veggies to make an extremely healthy smoothie.

The health benefits from the kefir plus the added ingredients are too long to list, but all one has to do is check it out online.

I've added fresh strawberries, or blueberries, or apples and if it's too thick to drink, throw in an ice cube and the consistency will be right for drinking.

Fresh beets, spinach, parsley, kale are other options. And though they may sound awful, they end up tasting fabulous blended up with the kefir.

Don't be shy ... be adventurous and experiment with different ingredients, but always FRESH ones.

You can buy the Kefir Smoothie already prepared but it costs more and has more sugar in it ... not a good idea if you want to lose weight.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT and would recommend it to everyone.

Don't give up if you don't like it at first sip ... the health benefits are out of this world. And it will grow on you. I loved it immediately !!!
