SUPERB QUALITY FOR SUCH AN AFFORDABLE PRICE!,

This review is from: Lift Audio Groove Series Noise-Isolating In-Ear Headphones (Black) (Electronics)
I was just looking for any headphones to replace my ipod earphones, and so I tried the Lift Audio headphones. I have also tried out the skull candy, j-buds, and v-moda headphones but the sound quality wasn't good enough. So this was my fourth attempt in finding a good pair of reliable headphones. I am very satisfied with the Lift Audio headphones, the sound quality was amazing, and the sound isolation really works!
I felt like I was listening to a $100 pair of headphones. These are also very comfortable and the extra silicon fittings helped out because I use the smaller fittings. Not to mention the keyholder case, is so convenient, I always have my headphones safe and protecred with my keys. By the way, the BASS is KNOCKIN' !!!

I got these a few days ago and have used them multiple times since then. The quality on music and handheld games is just as good, if not better, than some larger headphones I have. Overall, I have no complaints with the quality or comfort of these headphones.
I do have a couple of small problems that I feel warrant mentioning, though. I needed to switch out the medium earpieces (which come pre-installed) for the small ones. Pulling the medium pieces off was no trouble at all, but getting the small ones on was a real pain. It must have taken me 20 minutes to get the small earpieces to fit snugly onto the speakers, and I found one of them to be slightly loose after my first usage, which was a bit frightening; no one wants these earpieces to actually come out in their ear canals! Fortunately, I've used them several times since then and they've stayed 100% snug. The other complaint I have is that the cable, at least initially, is not split far enough. As these headphones plug directly into the ear canals, every single movement of the wire can be heard. This is because the two cables merge too high up. Peeling the cables apart a little further down the line gave the cables more breathing room and greatly alleviated the sound of the cables knocking around. One star knocked off for the scare and minor annoyances. Overall, though, I'm very pleased with these and am considering reserving another pair or two. UPDATE - February 18, 2010 After about 2.5 months of light use, the speaker covering on one of the headphones just came off. I don't mean the rubber covers, I mean the little piece of thin cloth on the headphones themselves. I was not hard on these. The carrying case fell apart, as well; the keyring just snapped right off. These headphones have good sound quality, but exceptionally poor build quality - they break quickly and don't even have L/R markings. Splitting the wire also did not help my interference problem as much as I initially thought, but this is apparently an annoyance with all canalphones so I won't knock them for that. I am not nearly as happy with these as I previously was.

I don't write a lot of reviews, but these can't be beat for the price (I paid ten bucks). I'm using them right now as I right this and they sound GREAT and don't fall out easily like the Apple ear buds.

My headphone of choice is Bose noise canceling $300 headphones. I love them and thought I would use no other. That has now changed. Lift Audios are light, easy to wear and have attachments for different size ears. They fit very snug in my ear so I hear every note perfectly. Another great feature is, they have no left & right ear preference. Plug them in and they just work!!!! After reading such a glowing review you ask why am I mad. I am mad because Amazon had them for $10 at Christmas time & I only brought 3, not the 5 limit. No cons. Just a great buy!!!!

Despite my initial skepticism from its cheap price, shoddy packaging (the enclosed mini keychain bag was super cheap-looking!), and unknown brand name, I was immediately won over by the sound quality of this headphone. I can't compare this to comparably-priced and popular Skull Candy headphones but this set handily beats out my higher-priced Sony MDR-EX51LP Fontopia Headphones and Panasonic RP-HJE300 Portable Earbud Headphones with Carrying Pouch (Black). The bass of this headphone was off the hook amazing. I can't comment on the longevity of this product as I just received the item. I can't imagine it being worse than the Sony one, which was notorious for its bad cable casing. Mine was exposed after two years of use and had to be replaced.
The biggest flaw I find is that the earbuds are heavier than my other two headphones. The buds protrude from my ear a little more than the others. Thus, it's easier to be ripped from the ear canal. It does fit pretty securely in most cases though It doesn't move no matter how hard you shake your head. To rebut D Mark's review that you can't move with the headphones, the "rubbing" noise happens with ALL earbud headphones due to the tight fit. Do not buy any earbud headphones if you may be bothered by it. I personally find the noise-isolating nature of earbuds more appealing than the occasional "rubbing" noise. The overall design is pretty slick. It's slightly bulkier than I imagined from the pictures (hence the hefty weight). Missing L and R labels contributes to its minimalistic design. It may bother some users but I'm fine with it for casual use. Sound Quality: Lift Audio > Sony > Panasonic Build: Panasonic > Sony/Lift Audio Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase. I consider it a huge audio upgrade from my Sony and Panasonic earphones. Do not hesitate to buy it even if you are not familiar with brand. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a set of earbud headphone. It's a fantastic product with a even better price ($10)!!

The sound is very good, but if the cord rubs against anything (like your shirt) it generates a ton of noise that makes listening impossible. I will try the trick in the previous review and change my rating if it works.
Update. Tried separating the cord to fix feedback problem and it did not work at all. Unbearable feedback if the cord rubs against anything make thse worthless if you move at all.

For the price of ten bucks, are you kidding me? These are THE BEST deal on headphones that I have ever found, and I have owned a lot of pairs of headphones, ranging from Altec Lansing, to Sennheiser, to Bose. These are comparable to Altec Lansing in ear buds, and they are actually fairly good quality. You wouldn't expect the kind of quality that you receive from these for the cheap price that you pay, and if you are looking for a bargain pair of earbuds, look no further, these are the ones for you. The durability and build of these headphones doesn't feel cheap either, obviously I'm not a scientist, but they appear to be made of some sort of metal as opposed to plastic. They produce decent bass, average mids and highs, and overall, it's more than you would expect for the price that you pay. They also come with different sizing for the ear bud tips, which is unexpected for this price range, but obviously a welcome feature. All in all, these headphones are worth much more than their price tag, a great value purchase.
**EDIT** I didn't realize they came out with a newer model for ~25 bucks. I haven't listened to that pair, but judging from what I knew of the previous pair, you'd be better off with a pair of Altec Lansing for just a little bit more money. Once you hit 30$ you can kind of open up your shopping options a bit where headphones are concerned, so if I were you, take a look elsewhere before going with these headphones.

I bought 2 pairs and they both work great. Just took these out of the box and began listening to them within minutes and was surprised at the sound quality for something that I paid only $10 for. I expect these will work better after breaking them in a bit, but as they stand out of the box they are surprising to say the least. The metal encasing and form factor are big pluses here, and the cord is significantly much lighter than that of other headphones I've used and is just the right length for on-to-go movement. The only bad part about the cord is the part that connects to the connector. Others have mentioned that it breaks easily, and while obviously hasn't happened to me (yet?), that part feels that it would come off if I gave it a light tug.
What I also like is the removal of the R and L markings. Before, I would always fret over if I had the right side like a OCD-ridden madman. Now I can just throw them on without worrying, since they sound great anyways. The sound quality obviously isn't as clear as my Grado SR-80's, like the flutes and piano majors aren't as piercing as they should be, but they are exceptionally clear for the price. However, bass is lacking significantly. Sometimes it sounds like static when it can't go low enough and it often "shakes" on longer bass notes as though it was struggling to maintain it.

Affordable and Functional,
This review is from: Lift Audio Groove Series Noise-Isolating In-Ear Headphones (Black) (Electronics)
I have spent what seems like a fortunate to me trying to find earbuds that fit properly, have great sound and are functional whether jogging, sitting at my computer or jsut listening to my Ipod. I was given Lift Audio's black & anodized chrome earbuds as a gift and am so happy to have finally found what I have been searching for. The sound is clear and evenly balanced, the buds fit comfortably in my ears and don't fall out and the cords are easy to straighten out if they get tangled. Since I received these as a gift, I went online to research and found what an incredible bargain these are. I am VERY happy with this product and hope other brands take a lesson that high quality can come at an affordable price.

I purchased these to use with the MP3 player function of my cellphone at the gym. At $10, the price could not be beat. The audio quality of these phones is quite good. Good bass and clear highs. The metal construction appears solid and they fit my ears well with the ear cushions that came on them. The cable is thick enough so that it does not twist itself into a mess everytime I take them out of the case. The included soft case is useful to house them and appears reasonably well made. Overall these are very good phones for the price and there is little reason to pay more for a pair of earbuds.
