I own most of Dan's CDs, and I have to say.. this one is just mind blowing...Disc 1 is a trip through pumping squelchy disco influenced tech funk and Disc 2 brings it full throttle with some uber nasty acid tech house..the energy is just relentless and keeps going til the end. Solid mixing as always..one of the best tracks for me on this whole collection is "Funkadelic" by Dennis the Menace presents Tube 6 (disc 1)..wait til you hear the breakdown, I nearly lost it the first time I heard it..get this mix..it kicks and then some..

This CD will blow your mind. Dj Dan is back with new mix album which is much better then Accelerate or Roundtrip. Better transitions, better trax. I don't think anyone will be able to top this one, not even Bad Boy Bill nor Richard "Humpty" Vision. Just buy It and you won't be dissapointed!

The product is great. However don't waste money on expedited shipping. I waited 2 weeks to get my "overnight" package.

I just saw DJ Dan spin at Ultra Music Festival in Miami, his set was very techy unlike the usual funk style. Keep up the good work, Dan.

I have always been a fun of DJ Dan, and honestly I was not very impressed with accelerate, but I have 2 words for LIFT,
MIND-BLOWING MASTERPIECE.

This is a 2-disc effort showcasing two very different sets from DJ Dan. Being a devoted rave music fan, I have to dismiss CD 1 and say its probably a tasty treat for the club kids and those who adore vocals throughout their electronica. Its not for me. Disc 2 is more suited to my taste--it opens with a pop opera, very catchy tune filled with funky vocals, but then takes you on a beautiful journey, building with techno and funky house sounds with some acid lines building the tempo, peaks masterfully and then smooths down into some trancey stuff and lets you off the ride elated with a big grin. DJ Dan remains a master DJ.

I have bought DJ Dan CDs for a few years, about 6. Last weekend I seen him at the San Francisco Love Fest in the Bill Graham Center for performing arts after party. He totally floored me with that performance (my fist time to see him live - dont laugh). I was amazed at the creativity and total mayhem this one man can generate. Realizing I was behind in my DJDAN collection, I picked up Lift this week.

I agree with E. F. Romano's comments. This CD set is totally off the hook, and a very well done set. There is a music revitializion goin on worldwide, this CD takes that and gives it a boot right there where the sun dont shine. This will be playing at my home very loud (sorry neighbors, gotta do it) and in my car at extreme volumes - yeah I'll be bobbin n weavin! So get that CD and let your life be the party you intend it to be!

DJ Dan has been one of my favorite DJs for the past 10 years. This mix proves that Dan is still at the top of his game. It's amazing from start to finish!
