Luther's Theological Building Blocks,
By rodboomboom (Dearborn, Michigan United States) - See all my reviews (VINE VOICE) (HALL OF FAME REVIEWER)
This review is from: Lift High This Cross: The Theology of Martin Luther (Paperback)
Klug has provided the church with a valuable resource--a concise, clear, easy to read look at Luther's theology. He admits this is no biography, but does provide a short introduction to his life's story in chapter one. From there he gives in a great read of the highpoints of Luther's theology. One must understand the importance of this and its affect on Christianity. Everyone else reacted to Luther. From the 95 Theses to the Augsburg Confession to his later years, Klug introduces those not familiar with this giant of a theologian to his theology. Documentation from primary sources are provided. For those who want to go deeper, there is an adequate bibiography provided. very well done and deserves to be suggested and given to many who because of the Luther movie will want to learn more about the Reformer. |
