My old friend Ron Kenoly is at his best on Lift Him Up. Not that anything hs has done is inferior to this, but THIS collection captures him at his most fun as well as his most reverent, in my humble opinion! He and the band are clearly enjoying themselves, enjoying the music and enjoying their experience collectively as they worship together.

Bass player Abraham Laboriel,who has played for George Benson, Chet Atkins, Chick Corea, Randy Crawford, Ruben Blades, Ella Fitzgerald, Stan Getz, Sheena Easton,Aretha Franklin, Herbie Hancock, Amy Grant, Chaka Khan,Gladys Knight, Manhattan Transfer, Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder and a host of others, really brings a strong flavor to this whole album experience. From urban to island to straight out worship music, you'll find yourself enjoying the music, the arrangements and the talent of Ron and each of his hand picked musicians - even if you're not a Christian. This is one Christian album that stands on its own musically and lyrically as well as inspirationally. I got this one when it first came out and still pop it in the car whenever I need a boost and a lift!

Ron Kenoly has done it again ----- to led me to a new high spiritual level. The songs are very meaningful and powerful. The musicians are superb. The high and low notes of the music are very clear. And I like the way Abraham plays his bass.

Bet you can't sit still and listen to this. You'll be on your feet!

Ron Kenoly has a wonderful set of songs to lift your spirits and turn your heart toward God. My favorite Kenoly song is "Whose Report Shall You Believe" - a wonder perspective in our daily struggles.

This is a very good CD. As always, Ron Kenoly makes you want to sing along in praise to the Lord!!!

Ron Kenoly has paved a way for new Gospel and Christian singers/songwriters to truly inhabit God's word and sing praises to Him. Before I even knew of Israel and New Breed, there was Ron Kenoly. I missed hearing this CD, and I'm so glad Amazon had it available to purchase. His music takes me to a high place of worship. Thank you Amazon for always having what I need when I need it.

Ron Renoly is doing exactly that! Wonderful beat, uplifting, get's me in the right "GOD Conscios" frame of mind when I listen to it. I love every song on it. I own other cd's of his - THIS ONE is my favorite.

Amazing uplifting music. I used to love this album in my teens (I'm now in my 30s) and still do! Ron Kenoly has a fabulous soulful voice.

Great music to enjoy in the car going to and from work. This is the way to start (and end) your workday....Praising God.
