This might be a good product in and of itself, but I wish the information on it had been more clear. I needed a second opener that would work with my existing unit, and thought I could program this remote to match what I have. However, the way this transmitter works is by reprogramming your system to fit itself. It cannot be calibrated to fit your system. So if you are looking for a single replacement remote and you have an orange programming light on your garage unit, this may work for you. But if you want a second or spare opener, look elsewhere.

The 3 button remote worked great! All you have to do is press the orange "learn" button on the motor unit and within 30 seconds, press and hold the button on the hand-held remote. Very easy to do!

I bought this garage door opener to replace one that failed and it matched my garage door setup exactly and works great.

I purchased the garage door opener as an extra to keep in the house. I programed the new opener in literally a few seconds.Now I can open the garage door from the house without bringing in the opener from the car to the house. Great product and great seller.

I bought a Liftmaster 973LM remote because the Craftsman remote was barely working, even with new batteries. I've been very happy with the Liftmaster remote. It opens and closes the garage door a good 50 to 75 yards from my house, whereas with the old one, I had to be positioned right in front of the door. I even bought a second one for my wife!

This was a great purchase - it arrived promptly and worked the first time. Sears told me my logic board was bad on my garage door opener and suggested I buy a new one. It didn't make sense to me so I took a gamble and ordered the remote. Glad I didn't listen to Sears and simply replaced the remotes since the "craftsman" brand remotes tend to lose their security + functionality when the batteries die and revert to the old rolling code technology. I'd highly recommend these as replacements to your craftsman openers or for spares if you have a number of cars like we do.

The original picture that i saw on the web which is the picture above was the one i wanted,however when i got my product, it was the same brand everything except mine was made out of something like wood, which was even better. As for its proformance, SUPERB!!! program and work without any glitch.

Descriptions in listing were accurate, applicable model not difficult to find, shipping prompt and installation/setting up went without a hitch. Takes a little familiarity with existing equipment and a capability to follow instructions--not unlike other digital equipment that is so ubiquitous these days--but included instructions will be sufficient for all but the most "technically challenged", who should probably call a maintenance person when a new transmitter is needed because without knowledge or strictly following instructions on setting it for your particular opener equipment, the thing will not work "right out of the box." It is compatible with a range of equipment, but must be "programmed" to fit your specific application.

This garage door opener is an exact match to what we had. What was especially nice was that it was 4x less than what the local garage repair man wanted for a remote. This is a great price.

We purchased two of these remotes. One to replace one that failed that was original. The price of this unit was half the cost the overhead door company wanted to charge.
