5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Craftsman Replacement
I needed to replace my vintage 1990 craftsman remote control. I purchased a different manufacturer that was supposedly universal and found out it really was not. This manufacturer/model worked perfectly with my 9 dip switch system. The only odd thing I had to do was to switch DIP switch 1 to the opposite direction. After I did that, it has worked better than my old...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad for the price..
This product was purchased because I had bought a foreclosed home and did not have any openers for the garage. It was completely easy to program...took all of two seconds. However, the button seems to stick a lot. I have to pinch the sides together to get the button to release. Other than that, it was a good buy for the price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Inexpensive and easy!, February 15, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This remote was exactly what I needed. The previous tenants at my new house lost the remote. I didn't want to spend alot of money--and didn't. This one came quickly, and I had it working in less than 5 minutes--proud to say I didn't even have to ask the husband to help. I've seen it in stores for almost twice the price.

This garage door opener works great! It's smaller and more compact than our original garage door opener. We love it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Liftmaster Garage Door Opener Remote, December 21, 2007
I am very happy with this remote. The original one that was given to me was the same model, but very worn out from over use. I tried a universal remote which did not work at all. So I ended up ordering this one from Sanford & Son in Ohio, and I got it within a few days, and I programmed it to my opener and it works like a charm.

We moved into an apartment and they only gave us one garage door opener. So we were looking for a second and this was a great addition. It's much smaller than the one we were given and works just great. The range isn't as good but thats ok, it still does the job.

Bought 3 of these, very happy. Sometimes have to press twice to get it to work, but thanks to a previous reviewer, we knew to expect that. Also, a previous reviewer mentioned that they had to switch DIP switch 1 to the opposite direction, and we had to do the same thing. We've used these for about a year and have been very pleased. I'd say we'd buy these again, but I expect these will last for some time. The price and delivery were wonderful.

My old remote stoped working even with new battery. I was concerned that I would not be able to find it cause my door opener is 16 years old. Amazon and its partners had one. It work great ,and to my surprize it come with new battery. Very pleased.

I am new to garage door openers (and garages in general). We purchased a house with a garage door opener, but no remote. All I knew is that it was a Liftmaster from 1995 and, after locating the manual online, this model of garage door remote should be compatible. The remote was really easy to program. There was a button on the back of our garage door opener and we pushed it and pushed the button on the remote. Programmed. It was that easy. It also cost less than anything we've seen in the stores.

We just bought a house and the previous owners left behind only one garage door opener remote. We looked in the local stores, but couldn't find any with only one button (we only have one door), or for less than $30.00. This one was an exact copy of the one we already had, and was much cheaper. I matched the code to the current one and was opening the door with the new remote within 2 minutes of taking it out of the box. Very happy with this purchase.
