It couldnt have been easier:

-Press learn button...Look for light.

Bam, light is on!

-Hold the clicker within 30 seconds.

Held it.

-Listen for click, done.

It clicked, instantly. Done deal. Literally 12-15 seconds

To verify this remote works with your unit, press the learn button on your overhead unit (remove the plastic light cover on the back side and look for a square button - mine is red). When you press the button the led light will light up. If yours is yellow, then this remote will work for you. I would suggest you immediately unplug and re-plug in your garage door opener to cancel the "learn" mode so that on the off chance that a neighbor is opening their garage door your door opener won't "learn" their code and start opening when they push their remote... but anyway...

Setup is as simple as that, press the learn button, then press the remote button. The unit will click and flash to let you know it is learned. Now the remote will work.

The remote also comes with battery and clip to mount to your car visor.

I went to Home Depot to buy a new garage door opener. It was $35.00 and I didn't even know if it would work. I did not buy it. I came home and ordered this one on line for less than $15.00 and it works perfect. What a great savings.

Syncing the remote to my Garage Door Opener was a breeze.
(1) press the reddish orange learn button on GDO
(2) press and hold the button on the remote until the GDO lights flashes twice/or until you hear two clicks if you don't have lights installed.

Unfortunately - I received a defective unit and it didn't work properly. I tested it (before climbing down the ladder) to see if it was functioning and found that it won't operate my GDO unless it's literally touching my GDO. It won't even operate my GDO a couple of inches away. The instructions states the remote should be able to operate the GDO from an approximate 3 car length distance, but that wasn't the case.

I contacted Amazon for an exchange, but was not able to do so because (although it was fulfilled by Amazon) it was sold by Sanford and Son. I had to return the remote (free of charge via UPS) and am currently waiting for my refund. FYI - exchanges are only available through Amazon if it was sold and fulfilled by Amazon...or through the seller directly, if they fulfill their own orders and has the item in stock.

Remote control for garage door opener was required for existing system in a home we just purchased as the previous owner misplaced any and all remotes. Followed easy directions included and was back in business within minutes. Price was very reasonable.

I bought two of these for a ten year old Liftmaster door. The product didn't seem to work at first but then I noticed that I needed to hold the "learn button" for 6 seconds to clear the previous remotes. Once I cleared the door's memory, the new devices synchronized immediately using the "learn button".

I am also pleased that the battery was included with each remote.

Took longer to open the package then to sync with my Liftmaster Formula I which has the redish orange learn button and gray antenna.

It arrived quickly and was easy to connect to my garage door system. There's not much more one can say about a replacement garage door opener.

With retail outlets selling a single garage door opener for $30 or more, why pay three times the cost? I am the second owner of a home that was built in 1994 and the two garage door openers that came with the house when I bought it are falling apart. One of them does not work all the time. The other one still works. Luckily for me, one of them had a model number that was legible on the back (the other one is so faded it's hard to tell). I ordered three of these from Amazon and batteries are included! They all worked as soon as they were programmed. No complaints!

1. Look at the model number in the back of your opener.
2. Go to Amazon to find your exact model.
3. Order a few and retire your old ones.
4. If you're like me, programming is as simple as hitting the "red" button, holding down the garage door opener button, and waiting for the light to blink. As soon as it blinks, it's good to go!

When we purchased this home there was only one remote for the garage door opener. That's a problem for 2 drivers. We needed a second one and this is perfect. The price beat anything in the local area. Shipment was quick without paying extra. It arrived in perfect condition and works like a charm. I recommend this product to everyone
