I bought two LiftMaster 972L clickers. Both could be activated to open the garage door, but only one could be trained to open the gate of my community. I discovered this when relatives came to visit and I could not give them the defective one. I open the defective one to replace the battery and saw that a blue round part seems busted. Too late for returns..Moral check ALL OF THEM. I only checked the garage door part and got burnt. I have no idea how to contact Sanford and Sons for an exchange

Suggests it will work for any opener with a red learn button, even Craftsman -- not the case. My Craftsman opener made in 2000 has a red learn button, but that does NOT made it a Security+ unit for which a 97xLM series will work. For purposes of a new remote, one must treat it like a Chamberlain or Genie unit vintage '93-'96 that has a GREEN learn button. Thus, buy either an 81LM series remote or a universal like the 375LM. If you buy the 375LM, program per instructions but with 4 button presses, not 2; also, must press and immediately release (not hold) the button following each of the 4 presses (375LM instructions are also vague on this point).

I bought this replacement remote to operate the entry gate in my community. Was easy to program using the switch pins inside.

I bought this garage door opener last year for our double door garage - it was so easy to set up and worked perfectly in seconds. Decided to get another and again the set up was quick and easy.

Got exactly the product I needed, a 2 button 390 mhz opener. This frequency is now obsolete, but I needed this component to replace a unit in a rather complex system I am maintaining here.

Got it quick, programmed it according to the easy-to-follow directions that came with it, and it just worked. I have two garage doors with Liftmaster units and so I switched from my prior three-button remote to this one with just two buttons, one-per-door. That way my old and feeble mind can keep it straight as to which button is which ;) Very happy with this purchase...

It may seem simple, but I am extremely happy this remote worked perfectly as advertised. Easy to set up, the just use it. Worked the first time.
