4.0 out of 5 stars Works as expected.
Works just as expected. Caution though. Make sure to leave enough space for the lid to slide all the way up. Oh, and the lid is pretty tight.

3.0 out of 5 stars Liftmaster 387lm
If not careful the cover will slide off every time.
Would be better if it had a hinge. Other than that Quality product

I purchased this keypad for a great price, setup was a breeze, and the sliding cover really keeps the elements out!

Could not ask for a better product or a faster shipment.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simple setup. Works well, December 4, 2010

Pros:
Battery included
Simple mounting
Easy programing
Small packaging

Cons:
None really

Thoughts:
Seemed to take only a 4 digit pin but I didn't mess around with a longer one. It may a longer pin if you try.
It blends in nicely and has around a 1 inch profile.
From box to setup and on the wall was 10 minutes.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works great, Installation could be improved, November 20, 2010

This is great if you want to hedge your bets, it covers most garage door openers regardless of year it was produced. I didn't want to buy one and return it if it didn't operate at the right frequency, so I got this one for a little more than the specific code opener and it works great. A few key presses to set it to my frequency, enter the code and set the learn button on my garage door opener and I was done, everything was perfect. Until the point that I wanted to put it on the wall. The included screws weren't appropriate for stucco/block nor does it lay flat against it. I wish they included some alternative screws up to the task and possibly a foam pad the same shape as the keypad that it could compress against... but they didn't so it's up to me to get the right hardware solution... not a big deal, but I do appreciate it when manufactures plan for more than one possible type of installation.

PROS:
+ Works great with my '03 Liftmaster
+ Easy to code
+ Lights up

CONS:
- Installation hardware is most practical on wood
- Can only operate one device

4.0 out of 5 stars Works ok, occasionally have to rekey the code, February 6, 2012

This item mostly works ok. It was pretty simple to set up with the supplied instructions. The cover does slip off sometimes, but I don't care, it slides right back on. I do have trouble with it sometimes where if I don't press the buttons hard enough it doesn't take the code then you have to wait 30 seconds for it to reset before retrying. The keys are a bit close together so you have to remove gloves etc and press carefully and firmly to make it work. But if you do that, it has always opened my door and haven't had to replace the 9V so far.

I was worried about replacing my Stanley SecureCode keyless since they do not make them anymore. This Liftmaster works perfectly. Setup was quick and easy. I was greatly relieved that this would work on my garage door.

If your garage opener uses dip switches, like mine, this was a very easy set up. The instructions were spot on. Very easy to use and easy to program/install. Very highly recommend. Everyone should have one of these.

When I received this product, I attemptted to program it. The directions were not completely clear. I attemptted to reprogram the unit without success. Sent an email asking for instructions and was sent a phone number for an automated system that wasn't any use at all.

Got it about a month ago. It arrived within 5 days or ordering, it probably took 15 minutes to set up, including the time that it took me to find the screwdriver. Works great, two neighbors already ordered theirs, the top does not come off easily like some of the reviews said. We forgot to close it one time that it was raining and nothing happened to it, still works great.

Works as advertised. Easy to install. Cover protects it nicely. I don't like how you have to enter a "0" at the end of your security code. It's easy to forget that and should be removed or changed to the pound sign or something.
