3.0 out of 5 stars A different type of sci-fi, December 25, 2003
By Jeffrey L. Lageson (Lynnwood, wa United States) - See all my reviews
I actually had a chance to talk about this book with Mark in its earliest stages when we were working together. He has chosen to take the sci-fi model and add the element of Christianity to it with some interesting results. There are times where the notion that this is a Christian Sci-Fi novel is secondary and there are times where it is right up front, which keeps it in balance. Good science fiction creates a world and brings you into the back story of that world as the story moves forward. This is a good, solid first effort and I hope the story continues.

4.0 out of 5 stars En-Light-ening Sci-Fi, July 18, 2003
By A Customer
I REALLY like this book! It is a wonderful sci-fi: the military, beaurcrats, renegedes, the innocent and God. It wasn't cheesey at all. I couldn't put it down. Mark Rollins kept me guessing. There better be a sequel!

4.0 out of 5 stars A good read, May 28, 2003
By Sanan Kolva (Pullman, WA) - See all my reviews
Once I got into this one, it was hard to put it down. An exciting space adventure with well-developed characters and plot. If you enjoy science fiction or Christian fiction, I highly recommend this book, and I'm looking forward to more books in this series!
