4.0 out of 5 stars Worm Light
This is the second light I've bought for my daughter's gameboy advance, the first one lasted for over a year. It's a good product.

1.0 out of 5 stars Bad Not What I Expected
Years ago I had a worm light when i first bought my original GBA. So I when I looked this item up I thought it would be the same. One reviewer said it would be a Yellow light and was no good. But another review said in defense of the light it was white. Based on that second reviewer I ordered the product thinking it would give off a white light like the product...

Years ago I had a worm light when i first bought my original GBA. So I when I looked this item up I thought it would be the same. One reviewer said it would be a Yellow light and was no good. But another review said in defense of the light it was white. Based on that second reviewer I ordered the product thinking it would give off a white light like the product details also stated. Well.... it has a yellow light so you can't see the colors on the screen, only yellow, and it doesn't even light the whole screen up, only leave a huge noticeable yellow circle right in the middle of the screen while around the edges you can see nothing. I would say it might work good for an original Game Boy with no color, but for a GBA no way. I should have went witht the other I was going to get, it had a battery pack/flood light, my mistake, at least I have an SP. I just got this for my original GBA I also have.

When my old Worm light died I started to look for a new one. I almost gave up hope but then I found this and ordered it after I couldn't find another one. After I got my new worm light I plugged it into my game boy advance and tried it out. That's when I found to my horror the light was yellow and degraded the image on the color screen. Some items on the screen where not visible because of the yellow light on the screen. This worm light would be great for older Game Boys, but if you have a game boy advance or newer you will need to find a worm light that produces white light.

Yes the light makes it possible to see the original Gameboy Advance, but you can clearly see a bright light in the middle of your screen. Your best bet is to buy a Gameboy Advance SP if you want a lit screen. The worm light doesn't even compare to even a frontlit SP. In the light's defense, the product does not give off yellow light like previous reviews claim. Its light is very much white.

the other reviews are right, it is a yellow light, clearly not white. a white plug and cord extend up to a crappy YELLOW l.e.d light that doesnt do a thing. cannot play in the dark. do not buy this!

the GBA worm light I bought labeled "white" was still yellowish and even in new condition I hoped it would last a long time, it lasted as long as normal light bulbs last which isn't very long. If I knew that I wouldn't have bought it at the price I paid which was around fifteen bucks. I didn't have a problem with the yellowness, but ours did not last long enough, just will stop trying to play the gba in the night-time car rides
