Heimerdinger goes in a different direction with this novel. While it is still suggestive of a fantasy, this is a deeply individual story of one man's views on his life and his family when he becomes snow-bound in his car.
The writing and descriptions are breath-taking, and Ben Wylie goes through various "revelations" that may or may not be real. I liked the personal depth and narrative that made this book especially touching.
