Heimerdinger goes in a different direction with this novel. While it is still suggestive of a fantasy, this is a deeply individual story of one man's views on his life and his family when he becomes snow-bound in his car. This was a great story of a man caught up in himself and career who finds that he had it all right under his nose - his family. I enjoy the suspence that Chris builds into his novels. I just couldn't put it down. I'm really looking forward to Chris' next book.
