This is an eye opening book. Best book that I have read this year. The light that enters your eyes travels by way of the optic nerve to the visual cortex of the brain to be further interpreted but the optic nerve also branches off into.......the hypothalmus, the pineal gland, the pituitary gland. Light,sunlight,phototherapy can change the function of all endocrine glands [chakras] Have you thought lately about the sun..... and that the sunlight entering your eyes randomly or intentionally could change your outlook or better your health? I've dabbled in syntonic treatment as part of my optometric vision therapy for over 25 years. I purchased this book at the suggestion of the Lumatron designer, John Downing when I received a Lumatron without a manual, and wanted specifics on its use. I have found this to be a very thought-provoking and interesting book to read, and quite different from the other syntonic books in my library. I find it especially intriguing to read about light therapy being used in chiropractic and psychotherapy in addition to optometry. It sounds like it was an excellent conference and I'm glad it was published as a book. It is being a help to me in my current practice with clients doing light therapy.

There is lots of hype about light therapy, and lots of books on it too. I wonder about these glowing reviews, though. They are all 5 stars, all by "readers," and all say nothing! The major asset of this book seems to be its cover art. This shows you how you can publish a book, get five friends to review it, and voila, you have a well-reviewed book.

The cover is terriffic art and definitely represents the quality of the content of this book. I bought the book for the cover to frame and put on my wall. Then I read it. Love the illustrations I would like to see more of this artist's work in other books like this - well worth the read.

This is a wonderful collection of pioneering work in the field. I bought the book just for the incredible cover. Then I became curious and read it. Well worth the read. The quality of the work inside matched the cover. (By the way the illustrations are outstanding as well.)
