This item was perfect for protecting my original size lightwedge. The only reason I gave it four stars in lieu of five, was that it is a little snug.

I don't use the LightWedge, but this case is the perfect size to secure my Kindle 1 and my Kindle 2, both in covers. I have Oberon leather covers for both my Kindles, and the Kindle in the cover fits well in this case. If you keep your Kindle in your purse, backpack, picnic basket, or beach bag, this case will protect it from moisture, spills, dust or anything that might scratch your screen. Case is attractive and good quality; faux suede on the outside; soft chamois-like fabric on the inside. Zips in either direction and three-fourths of the way around, so you can leave it mostly zipped and still have access for the charger; or keep it zipped up while still using the headphones. Very nice product and well worth the price.

I don't have a light wedge, I bought this for my Kindle 2. I have my Kindle in the Amazon cover, and I bought this for added protection when traveling with Kindle in my tote bag or purse, there is also room for the power cord.

My LightWedge Light is the Verso Clip-On Reading Light for Kindle (Graphite) [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging]. From a regular in the Kindle Forum, I bought the Original Soft Case, at a slightly smaller size, while it was sold by Amazon. I prefer items sold by Amazon, which is why this Case gets a 5 star review.

The dimensions are slightly larger on this case - if you look at the product Specs. The description claims the case is the same size. Even if it is slightly larger, that means you can fit more goodies in your case.

Currently - I keep my Kindle 3G Wireless Reading Device, Free 3G + Wi-Fi, 3G Works Globally, Graphite, 6" Display with New E Ink Pearl Technology in its Blue mCover® Leather Folio Cover Case for Amazon Kindle 3 (Fits 6" Display, built-in inner pocket), a small Bubble Wrap for the Verso Clip-On Reading Light for Kindle (Turquoise), and a Quart size baggie to slip over the kindle if its wet (Yes, that does slip over both the Kindle, and the Cover folded back). All fit perfect for a trip on the Bus.

An Example, from Kent to Seattle - Pick up my Medications: I placed my Card and ID in the Flap of the mCover, placed the light and my bus pass on the bag (for easy reach of bus pass to scan). I had quite the enjoyable ride (2 hours + each way), by pulling out my Kindle. Turns out, I didn't need the light - the bus has inside lighting for reading. The ID and Card remained securely in the flap, and I zipped up the light and bus Pass.

This LightWedge Case is easy to keep clean (trust me, dust bunnies and Kitty Haire are easily wiped off with your hand). And it looks just as good as an Ipad Carry case.

I've discovered I like this set up so much, I needed a new purse to slip my LightWedge cover in, when I wanted to carry more than the Tote itself. So I purchased (at a deal) Hilary Radley Tab Square Hobo. Apparently, they only had a few in stock - but you can grab some others from Amazon Warehouse if you do some searching.

And for those truly on a tight budget, you can wrap the Kindle in some Bubble Wrap bag (kept some from a shipment via Amazon), and still put in case to protect your Kindle.

Case fits perfectly. Makes more sense to sell as a set with the light, but definetely want both.

In contrast to the light it is intended to fit, this case is of surprisingly good quality. It seems to be well constructed, and has a good feel to it.

If you own one of these lights, you need the case to protect the light. It's worth it.

Ordered the advertised Original Size, received the paperback size, which I already have. REALLY good cases, but I'm afraid of ordering it from here. It's only about $7, and just not worth the hassel of returning, etc. Aggravating tho.

I wasn't sure whether to spend extra for the protective case or not. But I'm glad I did, even if to keep dust off the LightWedge. Sure it will come in handy if I pack it on a trip. The price I think is a little high for what you get, but if fits nicely.

This case is soft and suitable for the lightwedge. It appears to prevent scratching of the lightwedge (the inside of the case is a cloth-like material).
