This is the most fun book about lighthouses I've ever read. It has all kinds of fascinating trivia and useful information and all of it has to do with lighthouses. If you love lighthouses you should get this one. Everyone who visits my house picks it up off the coffee table and has a blast with all the fun trivia.

If you like lighthouses and trivia to boot, you'll love this one! It's an almanac-type book full of interesting material on gardening, cooking, weather, astronomy, quotes and sayings, legends, famous people, and more -- all themed around lighthouses throughout the calendar year. The author has compiled an amazing amount of true history and popular lore as well, often focusing on the peculiar incidents and strange characteristics of lighthouses. This makes a great "bathroom-type book" that can be opened anytime, to any spot, and enjoyed.
