From Booklist

At her mother's deathbed, Cecily Edmonds learns that her whole life, including her name, is a lie. Her father is not her father. Her mother left Corlee Island, off the coast of North Carolina, because she was framed for a theft. Cecily owns a lighthouse on the island, and there's a secret enemy who sought to destroy her parents. Determined to find her roots and the real thief, Cecily moves to Corlee Island and opens a tearoom in her new lighthouse home. Her reception on the island is mixed, but Ryan Anderson, owner of the campground adjacent to the lighthouse property, is vitally interested. At first he wants Cecily's land, but soon he wants her, too. Finding love isn't on Cecily's to-do list, but there's something alluring about Ryan. Poarch presents an unusually large cast of characters in this tale of many secrets. This roller-coaster romance stands on its own, but readers might want to start with Shattered Illusions (2000), the first book in the Corlee Island series. Shelley Mosley

4.0 out of 5 stars Shades Of Romance Magazine Review, April 25, 2003

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Lighthouse Magic (Arabesque) (Mass Market Paperback)
Candice Poarch brings us back to Coree Island and the Anderson Family. Giving the reader the opportunity to check in on Delcia and Carter, Ranetta, Pauline and Clay and Harry and Willow Mae and Ryan without the ill-matched LaToya.

Cecily Edmond grew up in New York with two loving parents and her mother's best friend and her father's sister. But a deathbed confession by her mother reveals that little in Cecily's life is what she thought it was including her name. Her mother urges her to go to Coree Island to claim her inheritance and to discover her roots. With her Aunt Glenda in tow, Cecily takes on an adventure of a lifetime. She is determined to right a 30 year wrong and make a success of her new business. Romance is not in the picture.

Ryan is still recovering from his disastrous marriage to Latoya which took every penny he had ever saved to end. He has learned his lesson about city-girls and love and he wants nothing to do with either one again. Then his parents' best friends' daughter comes breezing back to the island to put his emotions overboard. Can he escape another disaster with this city girl? Or will he be the heart breaker
this time?

Will Cecily's search for the true put her in danger? And what secrets does Glenda have that keeps her from opening her heart to the man of her dreams. Pick up "Lighthouse Magic" to catch the magic hidden the pages.
