Cheap.....Keeps Lousy Time,

I bought this clock for a small den I have that has nautical decor. It has a nicely detailed and colorful picture on the clock face. And the country blue was a perfect match for the walls and such. Unfortunately everything else about this clock/calendar is cheap. The tiles are made of a soft wood and the white numbered face is lightly printed and not laminated. They start to wear out after a very brief amount of time with normal handling. But most of all I do not recommend this clock for it is very inaccurate. It gains about two minutes a day which means that you have to constantly manually move the hands every couple of days. In this day of quartz movements and digital technology it has been many years indeed since I have experienced any kind of time piece that doesn't keep excellent time. Even a cheap clock I got at the dollar store here keeps almost perfect time. I would not recommend this clock for yourself, or as a gift. You won't end up liking it, and as a gift, they will think you're a cheap slob..

I purchased this clock for the little lady that I stayed with. She loves the calendar but can not see the hands on the clock. They are too little.

Clock itself is nice, but battery required is not one most people keep in stock, have go out & shop for a battery to use the clock.....
