The P101ICW kit combines 7-1/4-inch diameter white open trim and black baffle with 6-inch IC-type housing. The light is thermally protected and listed for damp locations making it ideal for use in a variety of applications in new construction, remodels, or suspended ceilings. The IC housing allows you to install the light in direct contact with insulation, making this light kit ideal for top-story installations. In addition, direct contact with insulation results in energy-efficient minimization of heat loss around the can, which can potentially save money in heating costs. It is also approved for through branch circuitry (connecting fixtures in a series). A combination of several recessed light kits can be used to brightly illuminate an entire room, or single lights can be strategically placed as task lighting in areas such as the kitchen, home office, or laundry room.
Captive bar hangers which expand to accommodate joist spans of up to 24 inches are included for suspended ceilings or new construction. Light uses 75-watt R30 or 75-watt PAR30 bulb (not included). UL regulated for safety.--Bree Norlander

This review is from: Cooper Lighting P301ICW One-Light 6-Inch Recessed Ceiling Light Fixture Kit with IC Housing, White Trim and Black Baffle (Tools & Home Improvement)
I bought 9 of this, prepared to spend 2-3 hours to install all of them, by the end of a day, I spent 8 hours to install only 4 of them. This kid is not really good fit for remodelling. the problem is that once the remodeling clips are installed, there is no enough room for the housing to be pushed up at all. I wonder whether the manufacturer ever tested this kind of installation. the description of installation is hard to read as well.
