First off, I have always been a console gamer my entire life. I just started getting into PC gaming recently and wanted to get something a little more geared towards gaming than my default keyboard that came standard with my PC. This Sentey Phoenix GS-5700 keyboard is listed at $60 on Sentey's official website, so for $30 on Amazon, the price is unbeatable.

I really like the flashy keyboards and mice that I have seen my friends use over the years and I specifically wanted a keyboard that was illuminated with preferably blue LEDs. The description for this keyboard states it has three settings of brightness. In reality, it has a "LOW" setting, a "HIGH" setting, and then a "PULSE" setting. The "PULSE" setting is the same brightness as the "HIGH" setting, but it will slowly fade off and then back to full illumination and continue to pulse this way, which is pretty neat in my opinion.

My biggest issues with this keyboard are the four sets of blue lights on the top and bottom of the keyboard. They barely illuminate even on the "HIGH" setting, but the keys themselves are lit up evenly and are very easy to see. The lights on the top and bottom are more for show, so all in all, as long as I can see my keys that's all that really matters. I believe the reason for the weak lighting on the top and bottom is that the blue LEDs that are illuminating the keys themselves are also what causes the top and bottom sections to light up, and by the time the light reaches the sections mentioned it has been diffused so much that it makes the light weaker.

The only other issue I have with this board are the feet that prop the keyboard up. They are rather small and don't really angle the keyboard downward towards the user very much.

Initially loved the keyboard and how it felt, (also the backlight is very nice) but two of the keys on the number pad were stuck down and wouldn't come up. I got a full refund and immediately bought another one, hoping it would be better. The exact same problem, however :/ so again, I sent it back and got a full refund and I ended up getting a different keyboard. I actually LOVE the feel of the keyboard, its just the two I had had some issues. So, take your chances I guess!

If you are gonna buy this keyboard, don't expect the level of feature and performance of Corsair Vengeance K70 or Razer BlackWidow Ultimate mechanical keyboard
I got this keyboard for my 9 year old son so he can play some of his pc game, he want a back lid keyboard like the one i have (i have the Mad Catz S.T.R.I.K.E.5) but a 9 year old doesn't need a super expensive keyboard, they're probably got tired of it in a few week anyway so i bough him this keyboard because it look cool and have a lot of feature that avalable on a high end gaming keyboard.
I got to try out this keyboard for a week before i give it to me son and here're the pro and con of this so call gaming keyboard after a week of testing :)
PRO: The first thing i notice is the packaging, the keyboard is very well pack so there're little chance of gamage during shipping
The second thing is this keyboard come with a lot of accessory include a pretty good looking carrying case
Also all the key are very responsive, good for typing and would serve at an entry level gaming keyboard
Other thing i want to mention is this keyboard look very cool, the 3 level of brightness actually work unlike some other
keyboard that cost the same price at this keyboard, i like to keep it at medium brightness
CON: There're a few minor issue,
The USB cable on this keyboard is not very long, i say it's about 3' maybe a bit shorter
The "pg up" key on my keyboard, need to be press hard for it to work.
Other than that, there're no other issue that i can think of

So, overall, this's a solid, good performance, good quality keyboard for the money

Overall good keyboard:

Pros: Not bad for touch typing and decent response. Lights and macros are very nice at $24 price tag when compared to other products. Love that it comes with traveling case and replacement keys w/ key remover.

Cons: the 0 numpad key was getting stuck at first. After removing key, cleaning and pressing it, and putting on key again, pressing it several times again, it stopped acting up.
Spacebar sometimes makes noise but not all the time.

All in all,
Excellent value keyboard for the price.

Upon arrival the space bar and the star key were stuck in the down position and had to be removed to get to work at all and even now get stuck when pressing. the star key does not work at all, once pressed it says down until the key is removed and rubber piece removed and fixed.

Using it to type this review, works wonderfully for casual use and playing games. The orange keys trip up people who use my computer, but if you're used to typing or able to type without looking at your hands like myself, they are no issue. Aside from that the only issue is that the software is slightly hard to use. After you get a hold of it though, y0u c4n d0 s0m3 pr3tty 1nt3r3st1ng th1ngs w1th th3 pr0f1l3 s3tt1ngs.
