Lotsa Lite For the $$$,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Lights of America 42-Watts Flourescent Wall Light 9045
I've used this model for many years and average 3 years continuous (daily) use per lite before needing a bulb or fixture replacement. Disregard any bad reviews because you get a lot for your money with this one! I decided to update this review as another year has gone by and not a single one of my 4 lights has even needed so much as a bulb changed. Hopefully I can keep the new spares I bought in the boxes for another year!

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

I really wanted to like this light. It's attractive, bright, and lights up the intended area very well. My first one performed flawlessly, for 4 days. Both the ballast & the light bulb died on night 5. The cost of shipping it back to Lights of America for warranty has me debating if it's worth it. I did purchase a 2nd fiixture, in the event that the first one was a fluke.

I wish I could rate this less than one!,

I've had replaced under warranty twice. This thing blows bulbs all of the time. The reason is because this fixture supplies 13 watts of power to the bulb. If you screw one of these bulbs into a regular light socket in your home it will blow instantly because the bulb is only made to handle 13 watts of power. Therefore, if you have any kind of voltage fluctuation in your home (which everyone does and you can't prevent slight alterations in current), this bulb can't handle it and will blow. If you don't believe me, go screw a regular bulb into this fixture and it will barely light up. These bulbs are too expensive to be so touchy.I'm warning you now.
