I bought four fixtures of this brand, and in a bit over two years, they ceased working entirely. The fourth one went out one month later. No ballast for a cheap fix either, just a computer chip. I have other fixtures over 20 years old, this option is really bad, buy right once. It doesn't even deserve one star, and what do I do with em now? They're useless.

This light is perfect for starting seedlings and rooting clones. This ballast will fit in the Jump start 2ft stand, but it is a tight fit. Comes with chain and hooks.

Shipping for me was 40 bucks, because of Amazon. seller contacted me after the sale and made it Right! Flora Hydro is a great seller to buy from on Amazon and I highly recommend purchasing from them. They go the extra mile to make you happy.

Buyer beware-- the description is misleasing. The bulbs included with this fixture are not actually grow light bulbs-- they are plain fluorescent bulbs. Very disappointing. We have brought this to Amazon's attention as well as to Lights of America. Did not yet get a refund.

This light works great for the money. It is perfect for starting my seedlings. I plan on using it on my indoor plants once my seedlings come up. I also plan on buying another for next year.

This product, although misnamed in packaging as a shop light, is actually a shop hood with grow lights. It works wonderfully well for my plants.

I got these lights just a few days ago. Like another reviewer I was ready to proclaim a misleading offer because they appeared to have standard white bulbs in them. Then I did a little homework. The bulbs are labeled with a color temp of 4200k. While not a perfect growing light temp, it is acceptable for indoor plant growth and can indeed be classified as a grow bulb. If you order these expecting to get the blue lights that you see in your favorite horticulture shop you will be disappointed. If you want an inexpensive indoor grow light then these should do the job.

Given the number of people who have been disappointed by them not being "blue" bulbs, I think they should include clarification in the wording of the offer. For that I'll take off two stars.

I have used Lights of America 2 foot t8 grow light system before never had any problems with it all, and worked very well on my seedlings,and haved used it to veg all my plants and agrobrite 2ft fluorescent grow lights works well this product. I rank this product 4 stars.

It is a great light--we have a lot of dreary cloudy days in Washington state and enjoy growing things--the light is better than waiting for the sun!

This light works fine for my hydrangea to survive through the winter. It arrived in good shape and is exactly what it appeared to be in the description.
