My daughter is 7 and loves these younger version Nancy Drew books. They are a little hard for her to get through by herself, but she is usually good if she asks for clarification every once in a while. The stories are very cute, and my daughter loves to guess the ending.

Great Series!! I purchased Books 1-8, for an 8-year old...she absolutely loves them. She enjoys reading, and since she is required to read 30-minutes every night for school, the chapter books come in very handy. She often finds herself reading more than 30-minutes, because she wants to finish a certain chapter, etc. The stories are great, fun, interesting, the illustrations are okay. She looks forward to following the main characters throughout the different series. Also worth mentioning, is the "activity" page within the books; they are projects that can be done later if interested, and if you enjoy doing some craft with your little ones every once in a while, it's a nice addition (sometimes she wants to do them...thankfully not always). One of Carson Drew's clients invites him to the movie set of a new film starring Fluffington, the celebrity cat. Now, you can only imagine how great the excitement will be when Mr. Drew invites along not only his daughter, Nancy, but the rest of her friends! Now, the whole clue crew is headed for Hollywood.

Not only will they be able to see a movie being made, they have been cast as extras in Fluffington's film. All is well until the star of the movie goes missing!
