5.0 out of 5 stars Very nice , well balanced tonfas. Good weight.
I'm a martial arts student and I bought those for training. Fits nicely in my hand, the tonfas have a beautiful finishing. The bag is nice, too. They have a good weight.
I'm happy with them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Monsta Tonfa, September 22, 2011
This review is from: Lightweight Competition Okinawan Tonfa with Case (Misc.)
I got the 22 inch version of these. The best money on Tonfa I ever spent. These things a fast and light. Now even grandma can feel like Bruce Lee. A word of caution if you are buying the extra long ones like I did. Practice with regular sized ones until you get it mastered. The long ones have the potential to hit your elbows and hurt like beejesus. Of course those hairline elbow fractures will heal back stronger making your Muay Thai elbow strikes much harder. Did I mention that there is none of that dark lacquer on these that refuses to absorb moisture and weakening grip? Yes these absorb moisture better to help you keep these babys loaded. A word of caution! I was doing a spinning back strike and one flew out of my hand. It blasted through my plaster wall point first destroying it and the wood lathing behind. Elbows beware.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice, but a little lightweight, December 15, 2011

The tonfa is nice and so is the case, but it is a bit lightweight for certain forms. Fits well in your hands and as long as you don't have to spin them very quickly, it should be fine. Those who will use it for higher speed forms should probably look for heavier wood. Nice as a practice tonfa.
