had been looking for this album for a specific song- lost a previously owned copy at some point in the last couple years. prompt delivery, recommend seller. item was listed as "new" but case was obviously not new- disk seemed in new condition, but should have been listed as "like new"- would have been very upset if disk had been intended as a gift.

i got this album on a bit of a stretch, my friend used to be in the band. when i did listen to it though, i was extreamly impressed with how profesional it sounded, and the lyrics had great chemistry with the music. good job guys!

5.0 out of 5 stars Rockstars emerge from the Nati, October 22, 2003
This review is from: Lightweight Holiday (Audio CD)
This group of talented young musicians from Cincinnati, Ohio put their all into this album. This punk/pop genre of music is an easy listen and will have you humming their tunes all day long. The lyrics are that of love and heartbreak and you can feel the devotion these guys put into their music with every word of every song. Its truly amazing that such young guys have come together to create such a catchy sound for all to hear. I can only hope there is another album coming from this group very soon. I can't stop listening to their CD now as it is and know that anything these guys can come up with will be nothing less than exceptional. And the rockstars from Cincinnati begin :)

I cant believe some "punk" kids some Cincinnati Ohio can made such a good album. I bought it on a whim on amazon.com and was very surprised by the artistic quality this band possesses. Its not punk yet not emo. The blend is absolutely original. I would definetely recommend this album to any fans of good rock music.

Finally, after watching 5 years of horribly promoted music in Cincinnati, a band has finally risen to stardom through a small indie label known as Porterhouse. These guys worked their way up from being a cliche' pop-punk band to a retro indie band with a hell of a lot more style. With the sound of Koufax, and Ex-Vagrant's The Anniversary, LH provides a glimse into the future of what rock is turning into. The standout tracks "Keep On" and "Goodbye and Goodnight" really light the album up and off the ground, hopefully they can eventually attract attention from a major label and be the first in years to come out of the cincinnati rock scene alive before falling apart. The album also includes two remade old tunes from their first 2000 self titled debut on Crayon Records (which they'd probably rather forget).
