I ironed the oval stickers onto the cape of my waterproof jacket at least 3-4 years ago. I have worn it in snow and rain. I have washed it in the washing machine and hung to dry many times.

The oval Lightweight stickers are firmly stuck. They are continuing to reflect. They also elicit favorable comments as they look really cool!

I have a 13 year old short haired dog who shivers at temps under 40 degrees but who also likes to be outdoors. So I made a few insulated jacket/vests for her to keep her warm. I decided to try the Power Reflectors to make it easier to see where she is in the dark.

I discovered a few interesting things which I would like to pass on: 1) They adhere very well to synthetic material, like nylon;
2) use a barely warm iron and just touch the patches, using the red card (included with the kit) between the iron and the patch or the patch will melt; 3) use a box cutter with a pointed blade to lift the edge of the cover so it can be peeled off. Removing the cover layer is the hardest part of the entire procedure.

Despite what another reviewer wrote about the product only reflecting direct light and should be taken off the market; I found it very effective in locating my dog, even when she was running around. The light did not have to hit the patches directly, they were bright even when at the edge of the illuminated area. I am going to order another set. I only need a few patches to fill in some patterns on the dog's vest but I am sure I will find other applications for the remaining patches. Perhaps my cats will hold still long enough to let me apply them directly to their bodies as they refuse to wear a vest.

These iron-on reflectors work really well. I have two black dogs that I walk at night and ironed these reflectors onto the dogs' harnesses (Easy Walk harnesses). They are really reflective at night and despite all the ridges on the nylon harnesses, none of the reflectors have so much as peeled at the corners. I put my iron at a relatively low heat setting and just placed a thin piece of rag between the surface of the iron and the reflector when ironing, and soon enough, the reflector adhered to the surface of the harnesses -- ridges and all! The dogs' harnesses get treated pretty harshly (i.e., they wear them all day and night in place of wearing collars) and we have not had a problem so far (it's been about a year). I also stuck one of the reflectors onto one of the outside facing clips on the harnesses and also had no issues with that coming off. I'm actually buying another set of these because one of the harnesses broke (one of the clips cracked apart) and I just bought a new harness for the female dog. Even though I wear a hat with LED lights and carry a clip-on flashlight on the dogs' flexi-leashes, I am astounded at how hard it is to keep track of the one dog that's wearing the harness without these reflectors. Since I only need about 1/2 of these stickers for the harness, I'm thinking about ironing on some of these patches onto my walking jacket as well.

This is a good reflective product. It comes as sheets, each of which have various sizes and shapes of the material. You peel it off the sheet, stick it to the object and make sure it is pressed (or ironed) on sufficiently, and then peel the top layer off. This leaves a very thin reflective layer fixed to the product - white or off white depending on the color of the material underneath. It reflects white well in traffic, even though it doesn't look as if it would, and it has stuck on a roughish part of my sneakers well, although I have not tested its adhesiveness in the rain yet. Update: 1 year later and these are still stuck to my sneakers. I've also used them on other items too - the plastic dog poop bag holder reflects very well with these.

I have never written a review (at least that I remember!), but these are fantastic reflectors and could really enhance someone's safety. My black Cavalier King Charles Spaniel escaped one night and was pitch black running down the street in the dark. It scared me to death so I bought these to put on his harness if he did it again. His harness is black nylon strap and nylon mesh with some painted metal and plastic buckles, so I didn't know if they would stick. I put them on every surface (do have to be careful when taking them off of the plastic). I ironed the ones on the mesh and nylon straps with a warm (not hot) iron over the red paper included, and they attached perfectly. You have to really rub down the edges of the paper over the reflector to get it off without pulling the reflector off (I used my fingernail). Even the ones over the seams attached and, although a little wrinkled, look great. They actually look like they are part of the original manufacturing. I stuck the others on the plastic and metal, figuring if they stuck that would be great, but not expecting anything really. The adhesive stuck to every surface. Personally, I thought the instructions were excellent. Great product!

I wanted to put some on my cloths, hat, shoes and bag so I can be seen by cars at night.

I ironed on one to my business back pack and it actually looks very good, it actually melts and bonds to the fabric so it takes on the texture of the fabric itself so its not coming off anytime soon.

For the hat, I put one on the back and front, and used an iron, pretty easy.

You get 3 sheets w/ 20 various size circle and oval shapes, I doubt I'll be able to use it all.
