Sahvanna Arienta is descended from a long line of special women. Women who "knew" things, healed, saw spirits and tapped into unseen realms of information. Sahvanna represents a new generation of healers--she is a Lightworker.

In her book "Lightworker: The Unique Souls who have come to heal the planet", she reaches out to other potential Lightworkers. She defines them this way:

"A Lightworker is a certain breed of soul. There are beings that have, throughout history, come to Earth incarnated as human beings to enlighten, guide and teach when needed."

Arienta believes an army of Lightworkers are now on Earth to bring healing light frequency in a time of dark turmoil, but many are unaware of their mission. They are struggling to find their authentic selves. "Lightworker" is addressed to them.

Though I hadn't labeled myself a Lightworker, I found myself identifying with many of the descriptions--intuitive, sensitive and empathetic with a desire to heal the world. Yup, that's me. But there are also the pitfalls to being a Lightworker--depression, co-dependence and addictions, to name a few. Yeah, been there, done that, too.

Arienta identifies the Lightworkers and then lays out a plan for success using their gifts and desires, rather than getting bogged down in earthly confusion. Readers who don't fit the profile will simply not "get it" and undoubtedly will scoff at material that delves into the paranormal. But for those of us who live in the Twilight Zone and struggle to understand odd experiences, "Lightworker" offers insight and sound advice.

If, indeed, there is an "army" of Lightworkers, the troops are being gathered and Sahvanna Arienta's book is part of the rallying cry.

This wonderful book really resonated with me. "Lightworker" talks about the people who have to come to this world to help bring more light through art, social work, healing, counseling, and a myriad of other avenues.

Have you been told you were too sensitive? Do you often know or feel things prior to them happening? Do you often pick up on the emotions and feelings of others? If the answer is yes, then this is a great book for you.

The book is written in a very easy to read and conversational tone. Many of the brilliant insights the author shares with us come in the form of her life experiences and the life experiences of people she knows and has worked with. Many times, authors of new age texts have great information, but poor communication abilities, but this book was fun to read as well as easy to read. Ms. Arienta clearly put a lot of thought and effort into communicating her ideas clearly and in an approachable, anecdotal manner.

I cannot recommend this book enough - it is a wonderful book to read and has fantastic information for all people - especially those who are more sensitive to the energies of the world.

I could not put this book down. Sahvanna is the real deal and knows of what she is talking (and writing) about. Her personal style makes her writing as if she is talking to you. Her knowledge, experience and straight forward attitude is refreshing. Cannot wait for her next title to be released this fall! For everyone looking for truth and light, this one's for you!
