this buzz has been the best of all I have 5 kids and 2 of them have one and my 2 year old is getting one for christmas this year if you don't know buzz comes off his stand just unscrew the screws on the bottom he also hangs on the wall on his stand this has been the most funniest toy we have had so much fun with they always have the room guard on and i finaly got used to it when i would cover them up at night it goes off and scares me and they would sit up and laugh at me. He is durable he has been dropped several times and still surviving.

We bought this buzz for our daughter last christmas. She was in love with Toy Story 2 and had to have him. We got this one because they didn't have any plush toys or buzz that she could actually play with. When his battery worked we had him set up to "guard" her room, and that was nice, except at bed time, she would want to play with him if we forgot to turn him off. We couldn't really let her play with him too much because he is bulky and we felt he would probably break easily. Now, almost a year later his battery has worn out of course and we have nooooooo idea where they go. We don't even have a screwdriver small enough to find out. So, poor buzz sits on the shelf silently waiting for us to figure him out. I am not upset that we bought him, at least my daughter likes having him there, but I do wish we had been able to find a more playable buzz.

My son loves his Buzz Room Guard. Sean has had it since he was 22 months old (now 3 1/2), always plays with it (we never have used it as an actual room guard, however). The batteries have not given out on us yet. The only thing I am not pleased with is the fact that it is quite heavy (it has not bothered Sean) but every time it falls, I fear the end is near. Buzz' plastic helmet has finally cracked at the sides and broken off (after 18 months of play). It is a fun toy to play with, purchased the same one for my 2 year old neice, another Toy Story/2 fan. I think it is the best 'Buzz' I have come across in all of my shopping (to closely compare with the movie). Highly recommend it.

My son--Dawson turned 3 years old on Valentine's Day. He fell in love with Toy Story & Toy Story 2 in November. I had no idea if any of the toy story products were still being sold. Now that Dawson has had this Buzz Light year for over 2 months--I give it an excellent rating in all areas. This is the only toy he has ever bonded with. He has to take his Buzz in the car every morning to daycare. He has to sleep with his Buzz every night. And, if he forgets to take his Buzz--every other weekend that he goes to see Daddy--he throws a fit.

Nonetheless--I have been cruising e-bay ever since--in attempts to pick up some collectibles from the Toy Story movies.(we are no longer decorating his room with a blues-clues theme) Move over Blues Clues: my son still cheers MORE for Infinity & Beyond!

This has been an absolute hit with my grandson. He is a true Toy Story fan. He is five years old and it took him about two minutes to figure out how to get everything working. He absolutely loves this toy. He has had it about six months, the toy still works like new even though it has taken lots of abuse.

A great buy for a Toy Story Fan.

We just got this for my 3 1/2 year old and I've never seen him so happy or enthusiastic about a toy. He added "sector" "planet" and all Buzz's other words to his vocabulary in under 30 minutes. I was a little confused about the "room guard" business until he managed to set it, so anytime we came near it, Buzz threatened to blast us. We finally got that turned off, but when bedtime rolled around, Daddy got out the screwdriver and took out the batteries. Sam still got to sleep with Buzz, but the rest of the house actually got to SLEEP. I've been waiting all this time for Sam to adopt a toy the way his older sister did with Barney, and I think we've finally found it. This morning, even without the batteries in, Sam was playing and chatting away with Buzz. WELL WORTH THE MONEY.

Well, after a lenghly search and a bit of waiting we finally got 'ol Buzz. I was very suprised at just how sturdy this item is and it's size also suprised me. Its quite heavy as well so my 3yr old has a little bit of a time handling it but she'll grow into it for sure. And it seems as if this is one of those toys that will survie her childhood with the scratches and marks that carry memories. Very satisfied.

We went to Disney World with my 2 1/2 year old son and he fell in love with Buzz Lightyear! We showed him the movie as soon as we returned and he has watched it every day since. We decided to give him this Christmas gift early and it's been well worth it. He has never been so excited about a toy. He loves it!!! He repeats everything that Buzz says and has to take the toy to bed every night. He also carries it around everywhere and when he doesn't have it he is asking where he left it. He has dropped it several times and the arm has fallen off, but it is easy repair. I love to see him so happy to have a favorite toy with a whole new vocabulary. Although I did not get this toy for Educational reason,I feel that he is learning. I would love to have this toy a 10 star for fun!

We gave our 3 year old son this toy ... . He LOVES Buzz and was so excited to get this toy! It is fun as a room guard, but also just to play with. It's large, so it's somewhat cumbersome for him to carry throughout the house and sleep with.

I bought it for my 1.5 year old who is fascinated by the Toy Story movie. It looks just like the movie character! It's a bit too heavy though to carry around (perhaps my son is a bit young for it). Also there is no switch button, so when the Buzz starts shouting out his commands and warnings (believe me he is VERY loud), I wish I never bought this toy. It does not really teach my son anything - that is why I didn't rate the educational value of it very high.
