Buzz Lightyear Ultimate Talking Action Figure

If your child loves Buzz Lightyear, then this is the one. He has the REAL colors, the REAL pop-out wings, the REAL voice from the movie, and all the gadgets that came with the original Buzz from the movie. Super toy!!!

My 2 year old son loves the movie Toy Story. His friend had the Buzz Lightyear toy and when he was at his house that's all he played with. He would even ask to go to his house to play w/ Buzz Lightyear. So we bought the toy. He did not put this toy down for at least a week! He ran around the house saying, "Buzz Lightyear flies!" The action figure does a variety of movements. The only annoying thing is that the wings are constantly falling off & I have to constantly put them back on. I believe the box says this is so they won't break, but I don't see what would have been the harm for them to be permantly fixed on. Oh well, hopefully they won't get lost. I also wonder why the toy doesn't say, "To infinity and beyond!" That being said, this is a very fun toy and I highly recommend it for your Buzz Lightyear fan.

My three year old son loves Toy Story, and is thrilled with his new Buzz Lightyear toy. He loves the retractable helmet, the pop-out wings, and the voice that sounds like the Buzz in the movie. My husband and I love that the voice isn't too loud, so it doesn't drive us crazy when he plays with it! The big problem with this toy, as others have mentioned, is the wings. It's too bad that the manufactorers couldn't have found a way to make the wings stay on without breaking. We are constantly replacing them for our son, who gets frustrated when they snap off. Overall, though, we're very please with the toy, and we're glad we have it.

My son recieved this toy for his 3rd birthday. He absolutly loved it, and couldn't wait to show Woody. He did not play rough with him at all.. in fact he never even dropped it.. 2 days after the party I picked up Buzz so I could sit down and noticed his laser button had fallen down into the arm, no way to fix it. And the 3 buttons on front have a short in them as sometimes Buzz says all his phrases at once.. though I think it bothers me more than my son. I asked him "If Buzz quits working all together will you still love him." to which he replied "yes!!" and gave him a big hug. Also I have had no problem with the wings, like the others, but he leaves them out most of the time.

I purchsed mine directly from the Disney store, but it's the same one. One of the hands snapped off when my son dropped it in a praking lot (he's 3, so it didn't fall far!). I haven't had any problems with the wings comming off like some of the other reviewers. I also bought the woody and buzz rc cars, and one of the front wheels of the buzz racer snapped off as well. My son is not destructive or violent with his toys; it seems that the quality of plastic that they are using nowadays is cheap. I'm sending mine back for new ones.

My daughter got this toy and was very excited. However there wasnt much she could with. she tried to cuddle with it but its plastic and uncomfortable, she tried to play with it but it was too big and cumbersome.

I don't know why the last comment is so negative, but this is a great toy and it DOES everything the seller says it does! My child has had alot of fun with it and it is TIM ALLENS voice, as I have heard it a million times. Great seller, great toy!

Reflecting on those years of fun as a minor, I remembered my favorite movie (and still my favorite animated film), Toy Story. Of course, either intentionally or as a nice bonus, the movie is a marketer's wet dream and I found Buzz Lightyear totally irresistible, I had to have one. Anyway, this became my favorite toy until one week about a year later when an unfortunate bout of stomach centric influenza left my better-used toys caked in some rather unpleasant gunk that my mother was never quite able to get out of the nooks and crannies of this toy. Note to self: hug mother. Anyway the thing never actually broke and I loved it while I had it, highly recommended.

If your children loved toy story then they will love this toy!! However you the parent will not. The wings fall off constantly and we've even had a hand break off. The kids still love and play with Buzz all the time and it is certainly not the fault of any seller that the doll tends to fall apart. Disney made it cheaply and that is that. If your children love Toy Story then you are stuck and you replace it when it wears out. Just be aware that this is not a toy that is going to last forever if your children really play with it a lot.

My 2-1/2 year old daughter absolutely loves the Toy Story movies more than anything, so we got her this Buzz Lightyear action figure and the Woody doll as her reward for completing potty training. She absolutely loves both and seems to have no complaint. I really love how it's actually Tim Allen's voice (the Woody we got is not Tom Hanks' voice...). I haven't had any issues with anything breaking, but we've only had it a few months, and my daughter doesn't really play with it that rough. Overall I think it's great, although I do have a few of the same disapointments that some other reviewers have expressed, namely that the his helmet does NOT, in fact, do "that WHOOOSH thing" that they made such a big deal about in the movie. He doesn't have quite all the bells and whistles that they show in the movie, but overall he's pretty great and my daughter loves him!
