Editorial Reviews

Product Description

Who was Aesop? Some may say that he is infamous for the life he led over 2000 years ago and mostly for the hundreds of fables that have been attributed to his name since. This book is similarly funny and sometimes shockingly irrational. The book consists of original humorous fables about animals of the forest that are unsuitable for children but their black and edgy humor will appeal to adults and teenagers.

5.0 out of 5 stars The word that best describes this book is: UNIQUE, April 23, 2008
The stories may appear childish at first sight, but they sure aren't! Every fable has its moral underneath it, often quite surprising and irrelevant though... You can never predict what the next story will be! Will it be funny? Sad? Tragic? Or just plain stupid? You will rediscover the famous fables of the Locust and the Ant, the Tortoise and the Hare etc from a totally different perspective.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I can only recommend it to everyone who, like me, is looking for something fresh and original to read!

5.0 out of 5 stars this book is MUST have !!!, March 19, 2008
This book is an excellent piece of writing. A real masterpiece among brainstorming books! It really gained my attention from the very first pages till the end. Full with emotional contradictions and brilliant jokes this book is a jollyfull trip among the weird world of animals .. acting in a very humanish way.

I strongly believe that this book is a real MUST have !!
