This review is from: Like Father, Like Son (Greatest Texas Love Stories of all Time: Lone Star Lullabies #14) (Mass Market Paperback)
Rebecca Worthen let Tanner Lathrop have what no she had given no man.
Herself. Tanner left, his father had a heart attack. By the time he was able to get back in touch with Rebecca she told him, she had another interest. Two years later Rebecca was in a car accident. She wasn't expected to live. Rebecca had to let Tanner know about his son Michael.Michael had to be given to his father because her aunt and uncle were too old to have a two year old to raise. Tanner was mad. He felt cheated of two years of his son's life. Micheal is strangely well behaved and quite for a two year older. He is also unusually easy to forget his own mom. Having raised a son I know two year olds are not as easy to forget their moms and they don't behave as well as Michael did. Other than that I enjoyed this book. Rebecca lived, she and Tanner found a way to keep Michael safe by marrying, and loving the little boy, together. |
