In 1980, after a long silence since the end of Big Star, Alex came back with 'Like Flies', produced in Memphis by Jim Dickinson. It is a totally unpredictable, chaotic, fascinating and surreal album, which probably describes accurately what Alex had been going through for a while. 'Like Flies On Sherbert' has taken on the status of a cult masterpiece. 'Feudalist Tarts', recorded four years later takes Alex back to his roots, with a pure Memphis sound album. Also included in this double CD is the great 'No Sex' EP, and 2 previously unreleased Live bonus tracks 'The Letter' &'No Sex'. Last Call. 2005. --This text refers to the Audio CD edition.
