This book is great! You should buy it for all of your friends, and one for yourself! It is funny and sarcastic. The art is awesome! This really is just a fun book, perfect for any female with a sense of humour!

Can you really call this a book? Well a picture book would be appropriate. I couldn't wait to get it and was so let down when I did. I read it in all of 20 minutes. It's more like flipping through a magazine with little tidbits of useless, though funny, information. Admittedly the drawings were entertaining. Can't say that I would have purchased the book had I known there wasn't really anything to read!

I am an avid reader of Frankie Magazine (when I can get my hands on a copy since they don't sell it here in the US) and I discovered "Like I Give a Frock" after they did a blog post about Michi Girl and her newer book, "What On Earth Are You Wearing?". I was really enchanted by Kat Macloud's illustrations so I started researching both her and Michi Girl, both of whom I fell in love with. The Michi website had me howling with laughter and "Like I Give a Frock" is just as funny. Every single page is absolutely hilarious and Kat's whimsical artwork is genius. A great combo. Leave it to the Australians to put a cheeky (and genuinely amusing) spin on fashion, an industry which many others take way too seriously. I can't wait to get "What On Earth...?", as well as "The Cocktail: 200 Fabulous Drinks" (not from the Michi series but full of Kat's illustrations).

This book is a must for girlfriends with a great sense of humour, and a love of fashion! Or, in fact, anyone as it is just so fabulously funny! You will not be able to put it down.

I bought this book and it's "partner", The Drink: 200 Fabulous Cocktails as gifts for my friend who owns her own clothing store, is very hip and loves to socialize and have cocktails. Fun, great art and great tidbits for the not so serious fashionista!

I was smitten by this book the moment that I saw the illustrations but the advice...well that is hilarious! As a recipient of the daily email from Michi, I adore her style and wit and plan to buy this book for all my girlfriends.
