From the Author
LASIK is an excellent procedure but it is not without it's risks. Unfortunately, it tends to be over-hyped in radio, TV, and newspaper advertisements as competition for patients is fierce. The lack of good available material to educate my own patients fueled my desire to produce a true consumer's guide to the procedure, as well as alternative and upcoming technologies.
