Great Spritial and Honest Voice, January 19, 2001

This review is from: I Got It Like That (Audio CD)
I am still hearing this soulful voice after listening to the CD after about four times all in one day. My favorite song is "I Got It Like That" that's a strong song and strong lyrics. She sings it with such authority as if she knows she's got it. Her voice is one of a kind, and has such an honest feeling. It's such a hot track. One Man's Woman says a lot also. I can relate to that song from personal experiences. The whole CD is just too hot. I will forever be a true fan. I will follow her music wherever it goes. Just from listening to her tracks and if it is not said enough, she is the best. I say to you MS. Tiger keep on keeping on, you will be at the top soon, if not already.

Singing Star "Tiger" Rising in the Midwest, January 15, 2001

This review is from: I Got It Like That (Audio CD)
This blues vocalist brought everything to the table but the shouting or should I say "hollering!" I can't wait for the follow-up to this production. The CD has the element that glues Rhythm & Blues to the Blues with a refreshing air breathing new life into an old music genre'. Good music to listen, dance, cry, and reflect. Along with Grammy nominee, Billy Branch on harmonica, on a swing shuffle, Dime & A Quarter, as well as the perennial favorite slow-blues titled "It's Over", this CD holds its own! This vocalist sounds like, Koko Taylor, Aretha Franklin, and Gladys Knight, with the power of her name, "The Tiger"!
