5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Mixture of Sexualities
This is a collection of stories with different sexualities, exploring the human condition. It is a FANTASY anthology and definitely EROTIC. May not be the cup of tea for everyone, but for those who enjoy fantastic erotica, it is an enjoyable read.

1.0 out of 5 stars Supremely Unsatisfying
This is really a Zero Star review for this anthology. I had to force myself to keep reading one terrible "story" after another, because I had spent the money, and that'll teach me to buy a book with no reviews. A good analogy would be getting through a 4 wisdom tooth extraction; you're committed, so you can't just get up and walk out until it's completed no matter how...

This is really a Zero Star review for this anthology. I had to force myself to keep reading one terrible "story" after another, because I had spent the money, and that'll teach me to buy a book with no reviews. A good analogy would be getting through a 4 wisdom tooth extraction; you're committed, so you can't just get up and walk out until it's completed no matter how much you wish you could. Every moment you have to spend in that chair is painful, and you know even more pain is coming, but it's leading you to the end of the whole horrible experience, so you just have to grin and bear through it.

No one else who purchased this before me bothered to go to the trouble of reviewing it, more's the pity, so here I am trying to save the time, money and sanity of anyone else who stumbles upon this book. I don't know if these 6 authors are new to this genre, or new to writing, but if this is an introduction to their style and ability I will make note not to purchase anything else I come across written by any of them.

There are six short stories, the first being quite a bit longer and a couple of them are extremely short - their only redeeming quality. Two stories were f/f, one was m/m, and some of them were just totally bizarre. For example, the story Tonight We Work in Silk. The shifter is, apparently (but it's not clear at all) a spider. No, not Spiderman, but actually a spider shifter who lives with a cavern FULL OF THOUSANDS OF ACTUAL, LARGE SPIDERS! No sex, just some rope BD, and somehow the male shifter, after keeping her completely entwined and cocooned in his cavern's spiderweb for months, totally abandoned and cut off from everything outside her cocoon, and without food, water, etc. (?), passes along his spider-shifting ability to the woman and the male shifter disappears into dust, apparently dying. Hmmmm, so erotic!

The rest of the stories are not really any better, and the fact that they are short stories is just no excuse for the feeble storyline, lack of imagination and inability to draw the reader into the characters. While the first story was the longest, I couldn't identify with the main female (human) character, who seemed to be aggressive with overtones of BDSM, or with the male mountain lion shifter, who apparently liked being her sub.

Overall, just don't bother. Or find something strong to numb yourself with before you begin the procedure.
