Leslie Carter can sing AND dance, which most "Celebrities" (Ex. Britney, Christina, etc.) only sing when they are actually recording the CD. Leslie also doesn't have to dress inappropriately to get attention. Most everyone (except jealous people that wish they could sing) that saw her in concert thought she was really good. As for another thing, it's rude, inconsiderate people like some on here, and at the Dreamworks Company, that Leslie got dropped. Want to know why? They said she wasn't good enough looking to be compared with Britney and Christina, etc. If you think Leslie is anything BUT a good performer, that's fine, just keep it to yourself. Don't be rude about it, because I'm guessing that you've probably never even met the girl. If so, then how can people judge what she's like in person or say she's fat. If you were her friend, would you refer to her as "Your Fat Friend?" No, so don't start on here. Leave Leslie and her voice alone. She is a wonderful role model, and in my opinion very pretty.

I think Leslie Carter has a lot of talent. But where's Leslie Carter's full debut album? It was supposed to come out in like, April. This CD only has four songs on it. They're all really great - don't get me wrong - but I was kinda hoping that she'd have her debut album out by now. Don't just diss Leslie 'cause her brothers are Nick (Backstreet Boys) and Aaron Carter! This girl really does have talent. And all of these songs are awesome. Can't wait for her debut album!

If you're thinking "not ANOTHER singing Carter!", you've got one thing right... yes, it IS another singing Carter. But you've overlooked one thing... this girl has TALENT. She's criticized for her family. She's criticized for her weight. She's even criticized for her music itself. But the fact is that she DOES have talent... and lots of it.

If you're a fan of pop -- or any kind of music that just generally puts you in a GREAT mood -- then I suggest you take a listen to this. I've gotten through many a hard day by putting on "Like Wow" and dancing around my bedroom singing into a hairbrush (cheesy, I know, but hey - it WORKS!!). Trust me.. this is GREAT. The first time I heard this song I thought "Like Wow! This is Brilliant!" . Literally. Leslie Carter was only 13 when she recorded this brilliant bubblegum-pop single! That's right, 13!!! It is getting hard to find this single. I can't find any website to tell me about the chart performance of this single. Oh well, even if the single didn't perform well, It's brilliant.

But I must comment, that Dreamworks Records is a terrible orginisation. With the making of this single, came a lot of bad events. Leslie Carter was pushed a lot by her parents to sing pop and start a career. Leslie signed a deal with Dreamworks Records at the age of 13 and started recording her debut album. Dreamworks was unsure if she would be successful enough so they delayed the album release, and released this single. The single recieved minor radio airplay and was extremely poorly promoted. Dreamworks then decided to release her debut album but then, later on, out of the blue they immediately cancelled the album release. Leslie Carter's contract wasn't renewed the following year and she was kicked out. This type of treatment would be stressful enough, but Leslie was still being pushed by her parents during her career. And remember that Leslie Carter was only 13, so she wouldn't be old enough to handle the stress. Leslie Carter is now part of a club band. Leslie, even now, stuggles with depression, anxiety and self-doupt. I am still trying to figure out why there hasn't been a court case about this!

Having Aaron Cater in the music business was bad enough, but now I find out that ANOTHER Carter sibling is doing it?

I dont need to hear the music to figure out what it sounds like. Titles like "Oh Wow" and "I wanna be your girl" just scream for originality. Anyone who says this girl isn't riding her brother's coatails is just plain wrong. Same goes for the other brother, Aaron.

I agree totly with the first reviewer. Indeed Leslie is riding her brothers boat and The other one too...Arron? BUT I HAVE head Leslie sing and I think if I HAD to pick one of them as best it would be Leslie. She does have talent, something that her brothers (and most of the popular singers) dO NOT HAVE! However I thinhg that she could be using her talent in diffarent songs I mean PLEEEaseee I saw that another Carter was on the loose and I gave a grown. Some one who likes Christina Ageulera and Britiny Spears AND mandy Moore AND jessica Simson AND ..well you get my point. I say, she has talent but she wouldn't have gotten Famous if it wern't for her brothers and she should get a diffarent song writer. And that pretty much sums it up for me!

This cd is pretty cool.The Carter's sure have alot of talent."Like,Wow" is sort of like a bubble-gum pop song,but it also has a really good beat.It's the kind of song you want to listen to when you are in a good mood.
