Butch who? Isn't he that banjo player?,
This review is from: I Liked It Better When You Had No Heart (180g LP + cd counterpart + poster) [Vinyl] (Vinyl)
Butch Walker completely ignores the pulse of modern music and just records the songs he'd want to hear. Luckily, he has good taste.
At first I wasn't sure I liked this CD, it jumps all over the musical spectrum, but there is something completely ButchWalker about it that ties it all together. I found myself hours later humming the songs and searching for the lyrics. On third listen, I knew these songs were forever a part of the soundtrack of my life. Thanks Butch.

A Great...Great Album,

This review is from: I Liked It Better When You Had No Heart (Audio CD)
I have been a Butch fan for quite some time. This is a very solid and complete album. His last two efforts have seemed to have seen Butch grow up a little bit. Like some others have stated, when I listen to this album, I hear splashes of ELO, Queen, and the Steve Miller Band. Some of the standouts on this album are Days/Months/Years, Pretty Melody, She Likes Hair Bands. Do yourself a favor and pick up this album, and if you can see Butch on tour, he puts on a great show.
