first of all i wanna say to the kidz review, cut it out, it's easy to see why you have 1 star up there, you are a kid. second i would like to say that you shouldn't judge something without knowing what it is about. this cd is a must have for all of lil boosie's fans. once again the young man is giving the streets what they want, he is pouring out his soul and telling you...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not completely trash but close. 2.5 stars actually
If you get past the generic beats that you hear everyday on the radio and actually listen to what he is saying on some records like "My Stuggle" or "Hatin'", you have to give him some credit. He is not as bad as (like horrible) the artists that are coming out today but I wouldn't call him the truth or that he is representing Louisiana because he is still bad. He has...

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Southern Album Ever, August 24, 2008
This review is from: Bad Azz (Audio CD)
I was never really a big fan of southern rap, most rappers from down south were usually pathetic in my opinion. I first heard this album inside my friend's car and after a couple of tracks I immediately asked about the rapper and the title of the album. I went out and purchased it myself after a couple days and I can definitely say that I got my money's worth... I wouldn't even mind paying double the price as a matter of fact. You can just sit back and let the album play completely. Best tracks on there are N**** Dont Know, Platinum, Swerve 2, Get It Off In This Mutha**, and Settle Down Wit. The rest on the tracks are very good as well but those are the best. BUY THIS MIXTAPE NOW, U WILL NEVER REGRET IT.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lil Boosie on fire in Baton Rouge, LA, October 29, 2006

Lil Boosie really did his thing on his new cd. Folks been doubtin' this man but he came with the realest and he told you how the game is and didnt sugercoat it. This album is for the streets and if you give Lil Boosie anything less then a 5 rating that must mean that the album was to real for those that dont feel him. A few of the best tracks are "my Struggle", "F**K You", and "Distant Lover." Everyone pick this album up.

Trust my rating because I am Lil Boosie's biggest Female fan and I feel everything he is sayin' because he put his heart in this album.

4.0 out of 5 stars Bad Azz is good but should have but should have included a 2nd disc, October 31, 2006

I'm going to start off by saying I like Lil Boosie. And Bad Azz was supposed to be released last August(2005). It wasn't cause it was bootlegged. The bootleg had some good songs like "Big Dog", "Touch Down & Cause Hell" & "They Be On A Nigga". It being released early made Boosie have to go back to the studio and basically record a new album. I'm going to assume this album was supposed to be a double cd.(He says in the 1st song on the album that this is the sickest double disc since 2Pac) But its only a single disc. The second CD could have been a version of his previous Bad Azz disc. I have this but its a bootleg and very poor quality. So I wish I could have had a good copy of the songs. And songs like "Booty Talk" and a couple of more tracks aren't on the album. The only thing I can think of is they didn't want to give a new artist a double disc on his first major release. Good album though.

4.0 out of 5 stars Bad Azz, December 9, 2006
This review is from: Bad Azz (Audio CD)
A tight album from my favorite lil' down-south 'G'. When I go to a record store searching for that down-south/underground soundin'/hustla' music, Lil Boosie is the answer to what I'm looking for. He spits it real and from the heart on this disk (like he always does). If you're not from the streets or in the streets you might not be able to feel him. He comes extremely hard on an album with no big name producers. In my opinion, Boosie is the ruffest down-south right now.
