3.0 out of 5 stars Round 2 for Baby D!!!
Baby D drops his second album called " Lil Chopper Toy" and he is still on Big Oomp Records, he did sign a multimillion dollar deal with epic threw his successful " Off Da Chain" album. Baby D is still flaunting crunk music again and its no different from his debut. His voice has changed a lil bit but you still get overloaded guest apperances by some no namers and Baby D...

5.0 out of 5 stars If you from da atl or Georgia you goin' to like it!!!!, June 19, 2003
This review is from: Lil Chopper Toy (Audio CD)
If you have his 1st cd then you have to get the second one (Lil' Chopper Toy) Tha Big Oomp click along with Baby d is repesentin' the dirty south to the fullest. Tha crunkest songs on their is: ATL HOE, STOMP THAT SH#T, EASTSIDE VS. WESTSIDE REMIX, WE 2 DEEP,
DROP A LITTLE LOWER, SUCKAS AND BUSTAS and then he changes things up a little bit on # 20 (DO YOU WANNA) which is a nice song for when you with that special person that you like or what ever. But all I got to say is that Atl stay gettin' crunk.(ATL til' I die!) Westside!!

5.0 out of 5 stars get it crunk!!, September 22, 2002

this is one of the truest cd's out in a while. big oomp is tearin it down. if you like his first cd OFF DA CHAIN, or anything from the BIG OOMP CAMP representin ATL, then put gas in the ride and go get it. dj jelly is just gettin better, and baby d got a little more crunk. it's a wonder to me why they are still unknown? when the oomp camp blows up, and continues to produce like they have been, RIP cash money, no limit, and the rest who have fallen off. if you want that dirty south crunk s**t, you'll play it from start to finish. hard core bass, untouchable beats, AND rhymes. BIG OOMP does RUN the ATL!!

Baby D is still flaunting crunk music again and its no different from his debut. His voice has changed a lil bit but you still get overloaded guest apperances by some no namers and Baby D barely spits a verse. This is very dissapointing because BAby D needs to shine not the Oomp Camp or Pastor Troy. If Baby D goes commerical he'll need that indepenantness because no one is gonna know his distinct style and flow with 5 people rapping on a track. He really has showed us that he is gonna blow up from the units he sells and his popularity. But if this is your thang then add this to your collection.

3.0 out of 5 stars Ridin!!, October 5, 2002

This album is tight. Its more like 3.5 stars. I just couldn't give it a four. I had to listen to it a couple of times before I could really get into it. I thought it would be pure fire like his first album. Some of the beats seem recycled but its still all good though. Get his first album before u get this one. This one is still worth buying too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Off Da Chain to Lil Chopper Toy, September 27, 2002

The phat beats never cease with Oomp Camp. The only problem is that some of the beats, lines, and line to line rhymes are used from track to track, cd to cd. You may see it as a plus like I do though, because it makes the tracks have a connecting value and sounds so much cooler. The beats may be similar but they are different enough so that people won't think anything when you're bumping. Baby D shows a bit more of his rapping originality with some of his lyrics and his speed. Still club and fight music, but now its also some badass rap songs mixed in there too.
To sum it up, I'd compare this to some fight songs from Lil Jon and some sweet lyrics from Luda. But that's all representing the ATL! Try to expand this because its not all about "atl atl atl atl" ... so its a good national CD... BUY BUY BUY.
