5.0 out of 5 stars Nummy Nummy Nummy I Got Fish In My Tummy
There's a lot of negative reviews for these, though personally I've noticed no "fishy" taste-- and I hate fish. I wonder if maybe different batches have different aftertastes and quality. I really enjoy these and though I often skip my multivitamins... well let's say that the ones in gummy form are ingested more often.

I honestly find them quite tasty,...

3.0 out of 5 stars tastes good but has ala
My kids love these supplements, even my picky eater. (I think they taste fishy). However, the Omega 3 contained in each pill is comprised of ALA, DHA, and EPA, in that order. My kids love these supplements, even my picky eater. (I think they taste fishy). However, the Omega 3 contained in each pill is comprised of ALA, DHA, and EPA, in that order. ALA is likely useless; the stuff we want is DHA and EPA. This item does not state how much ALA is in each pill compared to DHA and EPA. ALA may be broken down in the body to DHA and EPA but in very small quantities. It is likely that this pill is mostly ALA, and I am going to stop giving it to my kids.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nummy Nummy Nummy I Got Fish In My Tummy, November 21, 2010

I honestly find them quite tasty, though I suppose the taste is... "different"? I haven't tried to give them to a child (yes, I'm an adult who takes fish-shaped gummy vitamins), and I know children are often picky, but so am I. They're convenient for me-- no water, no giant pill to swallow, no fish burps (although I never had one when I took gels either).

One of the hardest issues with supplements is you don't always know when they're working. So, I have no idea whether to say these are effective. But if you like the taste and don't mind spending a little ka-ching, then these are pretty good. I've only seen them in the huge bottles, so it could be a gamble, but if you don't like em, send em my way. ;)

3.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't taste any better than the CVS brand, October 9, 2009
This review is from: L'il Critters Omega-3 - 180 Gummy Fish (Health and Beauty)
I bought the CVS brand first since it was right down the street, but when my 4-year-old said they were icky, I decided to do some research and find some better tasting omega 3 supplements. I ordered the Lil Critters Omega 3 gummies, and they taste the exact same as the CVS brand. I was able to trick her into liking them more because I kept saying that I ordered her some good tasting gummies, and she eats them, but she'd really rather not. And I wish they could fit all the omegas into just 1 gummy. Getting a kid to eat 2 of something they don't like is much harder than just 1!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars not bad if you store them in the fridge!, November 18, 2010
This review is from: L'il Critters Omega-3 - 180 Gummy Fish (Health and Beauty)
In response to all of the people who think they taste so bad, the package says best stored in the refridgerator after opening...I put them in the fridge before I ever open them. I just checked...no fishy smell. My 3 little ones 7,6, and 3 eat them up without complaint and if we run out they want to know where their "fish nummies" are
:-), we use all of the little critter vits except the calcium. love 'em, no kidding try putting them in the fridge!

2.0 out of 5 stars Great Concept But Not So Tasty, December 3, 2009
This review is from: L'il Critters Omega-3 - 180 Gummy Fish (Health and Beauty)
I love the idea of an Omega 3 suppliment since my son won't eat fish or nuts. I was hoping these would be as tasty as the Lil Critters Gummy Vites, but they aren't. I couldn't get my 4 yr old son to eat these things. He spit them out. I can't really blame him. I tried them too and they aren't very good; an unpleasant aftertaste overpowers the sugar coating. I was stuck with a whole bottle of these things so I ended up choking the suppliments down daily myself until they were gone. Still hoping someone produces an omega suppliment my son will like. Going to try Barleans Omega punch next.

I have read reviews of this product saying they taste fishy. They don't at all. My son tolerates these well, as do I. No fish burps and we get the nutrition we need.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not that bad - put them in the fridge!, January 7, 2011
This review is from: L'il Critters Omega-3 - 180 Gummy Fish (Health and Beauty)
I wonder if most of the bad reviews of this product are because they haven't been putting these in the fridge as the directions state? It's still fish oil though and while they aren't "delicious" they aren't that bad and I can easily get the my 7 year old and 4 year old to eat these no problem!

I tried giving my two year old liquid DHA and she was disgusted. These gummies solved the problem. Both of my girls, 2 and 7, love these gummy fish.

5.0 out of 5 stars My Kids Love Them..., November 5, 2009

At first, my kids (4 kids age 8 and under) made a few comments about how they don't taste like the other gummy vitamins (not that they tasted bad, just not the same). I mentioned that, yes, they taste different and they are very good for your brain so please eat them. Now they just love them. In fact, they ask for them multiple times per day and I have to remind them that they've already had their "brain food"!

1.0 out of 5 stars FISHY lemonade? Eeeewwwww, March 3, 2011
This review is from: L'il Critters Omega-3 - 180 Gummy Fish (Health and Beauty)
Bought these in my quest to provide my 3 granddarlings with dha and omega 3. Previously, I bought Nordic tangerine omega 3 gummies. they were VERY good and went down easily. But--kinda' pricey! Saw these and thought we'd give them a try. I tried them before giving them to the kiddos. Eeeewwwww! Ever had "fishy lemonade?" Yeeeuuuccckkk!

I will choke all 180 down myself just 'cause I paid the money but would never expect the little ones to take these!

Back to the Nordic!
